I think the rest of this season is going to be like those two Sunday wakes after the GF losses.

You go not because you want to or because you enjoy it.
You go simply to give a bit of moral support.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

I take it out on the golf course.

Still love the Saints, but changed working conditions mean I can get to only Saturday games this year and we don't have too many of them.

I'm philosophical about our apparent downward direction. We've had a terrific run over the past few seasons and have done everything but win a flag. That's life.

I'm not jumping off, but footy's going to take a lesser importance to me for a while. We'll be back ... who knows it could even be this year.

But the sense of devastation swept the Saints rooms after the loss with captain Nick Riewoldt being consoled by his brother, Alex, after his 200th game.

If it was later in the season I would get stuck into chopping wood.
Given its only round 3 I can still always hold onto 1997 when we had 1 and 5 before a massive turnaround to win 16 games and be top of the ladder (albeit on a small percentage to Girlong).

I wont succumb just yet despite the immediate desire to choke the living sh!t out of anyone who wants to rub it in.

Midfield clearances and clear winners are needed to make an effective forward line.

You need to protect the ball handler to increase posession efficiency

find out everyone thinks the same :(

Not me- every day and every game is anew chance

[quote]9. St Kilda

A team’s fortunes are often balanced on a knife’s edge. St Kilda could have easily been 2-0 after its first two matches. Instead they’re now winless and people are telling us that their premiership window has closed.

And it seems no one is more pessimistic about the Saints chances than their tortured supporters. “We’re gone,â€
