Success Eastern and Co- HOME STRIP

He also confirmed St Kilda would wear its home strip against Essendon in Sunday's twilight encounter at Etihad Stadium but the Saints would don white shorts with the Bombers to wear red in a bid to deepen the distinction between the sides

Cant wait for the red shorts..it will be 1975 all over again (for those who remember the introduction of colour TV, some Clubs briefly went a bit crazy with colour combos)

They should be made to wear a red or another colour jumper and we wear our entire normal home strip, but still a win. Agree with other posters who state that we shouldn't have to fight for this. But hey, that's life under a brutal socialist dictator!

this is the same strip we wore in the '66 GF M8s!!!
I'll take it any day!
and we might get the same winning margin for a result
0 R1 Draw
-1 R2 1 pont Loss ....
+1 R3 1 point win
has a nice balanced ledger look about it but if the actual sequence keeps rolling we are looking at -2pt loss!!!
oops

Absolutely excellent news
Obviously when we are the away team against Essendon and Collingwood in future we can wear our home jumper providing we wear red shorts
and they will be both be instructed to wear white shorts for their home game
not sure McGuire will like it
but great the AFL has come on board
and fantastic that we no longer need a clash jumper
woohoo

Great news. Like most others, I'll take the white shorts.
An important question is this - " how much influence did the Sainsational feedback prompt either the St Kilda heirachy or the AFL (less likely) to act?" Me thinks perhaps a lot more than they would be willing to admit to.
Let's now get on with the football.
