I'm feeling utterly sick to the stomach. It has been such a dark 6 months for the club - the GF replay loss, off field scandals, the passing of a club legend and now this

One of the few heart and soul players is gone. He was appointed captain in 2004 and should have remained captain since, IMO.

The worst news I have ever heard. Hopefully the rest of the mob can lift their games collectively and use Lenny as their motivation for the rest of the year. That is the very least that they owe him. I suppose hi isn't a chance for the Norm Smith Medal this year?

He won't be going nowhere. Has the smarts to keep his career going for a lot longer yet. I've no doubt he'll be bigger and better when he returns. Very sad news, but had been anticipating this would be the case

Lenny exemplies commitment to the Saints; he is a true leader. On the field he is the heart and the spirit of the Saints. Even off the field his contribution will be huge. Hang in there Lenny and all the best for a strong recovery.
