Dont get me started......too bad i you have,

He is obviously capabe of these results......

Should have played 10 very good games by now....along with 30 average games and 10 poor games.....and a grand final.......

At least 20 games shy of where he shpuld be....now he needs to cover lenny with 30 games experience....not 50+

Least 4 players who will be delisted next year have got games........and the ball decision will really hit home soon.....can of worms

Whatever the case, he has a chance now. Lenny needs a replacement

He and McEvoy tonight gave us some hope for the future.

Armitage now has to back this game up and show some consistency.

Great game from Armo and yes needs to back it up with consistency....Showed guts and determinationas well as a hunger for the contest, hope blokes like Gram and Peake cotton on to what it means to wear the St Kilda jumper with pride as David showed tonight.

Ross will have to play him every week now that Hayes is out for the season.

Hopefully, he'll keep this form up, but I'll need a bit of convincing. If ever there was an opporunity for him to establish himself, its now.

Really liked what I saw from Armo tonight. Hes super tough and takles like a rugby league half back. With Lenny out this is Armo's time. Should get more game time in the middle and his numbers should increase. Tonight his kicking skills looked elite at various stages - I remember some passes on the wing traveling like bullets 40m to the chest of team mates. He needs to do this more and became damaging with the footy.

I said before the first game, we need to form a David Armitage Fan Club... I'm sure with the struggle he's been through to get into the team, he might appreciate the support. I remember a few years ago he kicked a winning goal in an NAB Cup game... I was so happy at the time because I thought we'd really found a new player for the 22... I still have faith in him; I hope he continues his great form. Go Armo!

My immediate thought after Lenny went down was this is Armitage's opportunity to show what he can do as a footballer. Any by three quarter time he had the highest number of disposals of any players.

So take this opportunity Armo and use it.

(but we will miss you Lenny  )

Great game last night but the Tigers are hardly a premium team... long way to go b4 being a pro

Seems most people are on the same page thinking he's a good replacement for Lenny.
Keep punching Armo!

He gets his chance and I hope he shoves it up the media and shows that he is a worthy first round pick. Keep it up Armo.

Agree, but it's not just the media he needs to shove it up!

The big test for Armo is to now back it up again next week and give us some grunt at the bottom of the pack and in clearances.
I was glad for him last night, he was the only good thing about last night, but he has to start becoming consistant.

Thought he did quite well against Geelong also - often on the HFF - seems like the measuring rod is harder for some players
