2nd game of the season and we have some issues that need addressing, they lost their best player early, leading goalkicker and we still couldn't take advantage of that. Does not auger well for the remainder of the season.

Stick with Ross.
Need to reassess.
Definitely need an injection of pace and skill.
Can come from the likes of Winmar, Cripps, Ledger.
Steven gets fit and bring him back in. Will be an interesting year.

very lazy effort.... why didnt they just hand ball it through... instead of trying to kick it :S

although shouldve never come to that..... we shouldve been up by 6 goals for most the game......

The goal kicking is the major concern...the rest of it looks like the product of a late pre-season. Armo...fantastic. Big Mac...fantastic. Clarke...getting confidence up. Milne...almost got us there again, despite being dropped by the forum selectors last week.

I think it is a long time since RL has had our blokes play high tempo footy, we no longer have the run to pull it off. Richmonds were first the ball on most occasions tonight.

Having said that if we had of kicked straight we would have won comfortably.

We have a lot of players out of form who cant match the pace of the game at this time in the season - Jones, Baker, Blake, Ray, Gilbert and Clarke. Gwlit and Goddard always seem to struggle against quicker opponents also.

On current form Essendoin will beat us by 10 goals...
