What did everyone think of our jumper?
Entirely black back. Didn't mind it personally.

Spoke to a Bulldogs supporter today who, without any prompting, remarked how good the Saints jumpers looked on TV last night.dcstkfc wrote:Entirely black back. Didn't mind it personally.

Loved it!!!
it's amazing how much difference such a small extra amount of black has made.
Looks a bit "tougher' too for mine....I know that sounds silly, but that's what I see

ANY changes to the jumper should be voted in by a majority of MEMBERS, NOT by the whims of a board member or two!
I think it's disgraceful that these decisions are made without any consultation with the members!

I agree. It makes it look too similiar to Essendon's, but otherwise it looks sharp enough.barks4eva wrote:The white is too thin!

I think the idea of tweaking the design is all to do with marketing.

It's not surprising that the teams with the most premierships have had the least changes. Alas, the reverse is also the case. Pick a design and stick with it for the next 100 years. Then change it. Just what do these morons think the word "tradition" means? (Just call me Tevya). Yes of course you can sell more of new design than an old, but I would take a flag anytime over sales.

How does tinkering with your jumper cost you a flag?perfectionist wrote:It's not surprising that the teams with the most premierships have had the least changes. Alas, the reverse is also the case. It looked OK from the front.
BUT
From the back I kept thinking we looked like Carlton.
We need some red and white, even if only a border.
R W & B is our brand.
So basically I think it is a fail.

And since when did the back ever have any red?

The back never had any red.
But at least with the white border we didn't look like Carlton.
We should have a jumper that is uniquely StKilda.
And is readily identifiable from ALL sides.
I agree with Barks, we should go back to the three even width panels at the front.
But perhaps the back should have a narrow red and white border so we look like StKilda from behind.
