"He was really instrumental in helping with their ball use so that was part of a co-ordinated plan with us, another resource to help us with the attacking side of our game," Saints coach Ross Lyon said today.

"His run-and-carry expertise and scoring expertise is renowned throughout football and he's a great appointment for our football club."
Much needed for above reasons. Also, good for Rossy to have real experience along side him. Our other coaches are all relatively young.

Yeah, the timing is weird!

Although dare I say it'd be more difficult for the Cats to lose such an important guy so close to the season starting, than us gaining him.

He looks like an excellent pick-up and just what we need!

Thats 2 threads on this subject..i thought this topic might have caused more discussion but maybe we are all a bit cynical about development coaches because we haven't developed any players for years....

We must have at least 4 development coaches by now..will it be enough..

We seem to be better at trading or drafting recycles....

Lol.

I used to work with his daughter! At that time he was working at the Tigers under Danny Frawley.

Know absolutely zilch about him though I'm afraid!

She'd be in her late thirties now I'd say.

Playing days behind her....
