Out of interest, which bay @ the G?

Is that level ONE @ the G!
P is the small area/ leve between N and Q-
M ground
N premium
P premium price but above N and often in weather- onfront of corporate boxes. In GSS

I think SP did actually mean Level P, which indeed is in front of the boxes

Its a perfectly fine view, the only down side is that you can hear everyone elsehaving corporate food and drink, but to get something yourself you have to go all the way down to Level M or up to Q

Im in P15, which is pretty much smack on the Wing, in Row E

Oh great, they give level two on the wing to level three members and level one members with reserved seats ON THE WING get shoved in a forward pocket!

FAIR DINKUM TYPICAL!

I'm in P7 which is level 3 but in the pocket.

Dunno why it isn't closer to the Wing?

Do you ever stop and think in your lil rants that MAYBE it might not the Clubs fault??

One of our group put her keyboard away long enough to ring them, as the G had put her and her Mum 7 seats apart.

Thats right..THE G!!!! The Club apologised profusely, said that the MCG had been handing out seats in a "best available" order rather than like for like...and not seating people with others in a group. They'd recieved a lot of complaints They are going to allocate her and her Mum fresh seats and get their tickets reprinted.

Its very random. Saintspremiers and I sit at opposite ends of the same Row at Etihad, yet were 8 Bays apart at the G

Oh and before you get so upset about The MW getting Level 2 seats. it isnt. Level P is the third level up at the G, just like at Etihad and having sat there Id say its a comparable view. I agree you getting put in a pocket is wrong. Have you actually rung the Club and said your piece?

Im sure you as much as anyone dont like being blamed for things that arent your fault, and theres more to this MCG seating mixup than just "Ahhh the CLub are hopeless!!"

Who said I was upset about the seats, I really couldn't give a fig!

I did have a reason to ring the club though,

I buy two reserved seats, you know two SEPARATE seats, that's what TWO means, u know ONE PLUS ONE,

yet TWO separate memberships, both had the same seat number at the G

yes I received an apology and was told we are very sorry etc..etc...

by this time apparently the only TWO seats left together for St Kilda reserved seat holders in the entire MCG were in the forward pocket!

I renewed my membership on the same day I received it back in NOVEMBER

It's just so typical, but anyway, in all honesty I really am not fussed about seats for a H & A game!

What I am pissed off with is, the cheese eating surrender monkeys otherwise known as the board of the St kilda football club keep serving up stupid clash jumpers, without any input from the members, something that was promised but never delivered on,

I warned them in 2008 about the prospect of playing Collingwood in a Grand Final and being forced to wear a clash jumper for such an occasion

Westaway said" Oh we will be wearing our HOME jumper in Grand Finals"

YEAH RIGHTO, CLOWN

Collingwood just swap the black for white, we should do exactly the same and maintain our HOME panel jumper on the front of the guernsey, SO THAT IT WILL BE REPRESENTED IF WE MAKE A GRAND FINAL

but the cheese eating surrender monkeys are too busy jumping at AFL shadows, too actually stand up and deliver what most members would actually vote for if given the opportunity

but no there's this strange fixation with FKN crosses on our jumper AND sheeple wonder why we keep getting FKN crucified!

FAIR DINKUM

Wouldn't have been the G, it would have been Ticketek and they only do what they're told to do.

b4eva, isnt "cheese eating surrender monkeys" a term used to reference the French? Not sure how it ties into the St.K FC. But anyway, thats largely unimportant, so I think I may go have a cold glass of milk and a dump. Cheerio.

This happened to us last year and we almost missed out on Grand Final tickets registration because they couldn't take money out.

I don't understand how it happens. All have the same last name.

All have the same Credit Card.... :?: :?: :?:

I'm really disappointed with the way membership has been handled this year: from the initial failed promise of delivery before Christmas to the absence still of our membership cards 2 weeks out from Rd1 to the (so I've heard) non availability of members' hats for those who made the effort to turn up at family day today.

I will always be a member of the StKilda Football club no matter what, but this cannot be good PR for our memberships in general.

And yes, I know it has been said that some of the blame can be laid on ticketmaster/ ticketek/ MCG/ AFL, whoever.......
But the fact is: I bought my membership package from the club. It is up to the club to get all this stuff sorted out, or take the heat when things go wrong. It is our club who is supplying me with this membership package, not those other parties.

I am sorry, but it is the membership department of our club that I am disappointed in.

who ever is in charge of the membership dept needs a good kick up the ass. if this was a normal business people who would give and go across the street to someone else who is more reliable and on time.

they are very lucky they are in a business with a fair amount of loyalty
