Scarf / cap pickup

Post: # 1046587Post saint66au »

Sorry for starting a thread that doesnt involve KD ;-)

The letter that came with my membership card on Friday seems to indicate that you can pick up your scarf / cap at Family Day..or at Etihad home games. Does this mean that..

A. You cant collect from the Club in the meantime?

B That if you cant get to Family Day you cant get your stuff til Round 3???

As usual the club don't give a fig about members.

I rang them last week and asked if they wouldn't mind sending the hat and scarf ... it arrived a couple of days later (not even scrunched!).

Didn't you have to get your ticket clicked or something?

it's not that they don't care, it's just that the membership department is very bad at execution. how hard can it be, truly? you know you're going to have at least 20k members so order 20k scarves and hats in october. order another 10k load in jan then see if you need any more in march. there's no real excuse except incompetence.

I think country members can have it sent to them, but everyone else needs to go to the game/club/family day and have your membership ticket clipped.

Who said I was a country member?!
I figured the easiest way to avoid a queue at the marquee at our home game would be to ring up the Club and ask for a special favour. My wish was granted! :P

Please do not tempt me with that same old joke Spelly

I think once a year is sufficient.

Also seems to extend from my posts too!

Think you've found a loop-hole spelly! But yes, I think those who live over 100km from the CBD are able to have it sent to them.

My dog received his scarf with his membership.
My two granddaughters are yet to receive anything, a matter I followed up both in January and in February with the Club.

Good luck getting cards clipped on family day- considering we still don't have them.
We called the club today. Apparently all cards should be out in time for Rd 1. Should????
At least they were able to tell us our seats for the G. Our Row A seats at Etihad become Row GG at the MCG. Not exactly like for like but at least we each got our own seat and all together which is better than some have got, so I guess I should be happy with that.
Also followed up my granddaughter's Angel membership which was paid for in January. Apparently it was supposedly sent on Feb 9th but was never received. Possibly a problem with Aust post, who knows. But they are organising "another" pack.
