Herald Sun Saints articles bonanza

Post: # 1045321Post InkerSaint »

A Saints season preview "Mega-Site", no less than 4 articles, and some personal attention courtesy of Mike Sheahan in a video analysis.

Some are suggesting the Saints needed to repair media relations, perhaps the media have realised the same thing.

Sure they're a business, but today's content is well worth the price of admission.

Don't worry, the Collingfilth one is yet to come. :)
I believe they are planning a whole edition for that one.

I love this...
Riewoldt agrees. He forgoes his customary run-throughs on the ground, believing the confines of the rooms are sufficient. He is hungry, though, keen and fresh for the contest.

His game face arrives. It is intense. But not as intense as Brendon Goddard's. Midfield coach Robert Harvey talks to him and BJ doesn't blink. Or smile. Just nods.

What confuses me is how many people seem to read these articles but 2 weeks ago no one was ever reading the paper again.

Good observation. We all love the good news.
Being defensive on the other stuff shows that people care about the Saints and won't sit quietly when others put shiiiit on us.

I am one who declared the HS a no buy for the future. Interesting, isn't it, that the Age, a sponsor of the Club, has absolutely nothing, zero, zilch on the game tonight in it's sports pages today - unlless I'm blind.

Speaking from the perspective of a Saints fan, it looks like they realise that while the club remains a force onfield they can't afford to remain offside with the supporters.

I believe this season has seen an unprecedented awareness and cynicism not only from Saints supporters but a lot of the public in general. The media are realising that not all of the public can be led like rats to the piper's tune.

I regard today's articles as reparation. The Saints deserve the attention. They are genuine contenders.

I dont buy the herald.

I do look at in online now and then while at work.

Nice FOOTBALL articles today.

Make no mistake they would love for some other rumour, pic or love child to appear.

I think you give them way too much credit.

The beast will feed, one way or another... if there's footy to report on, great... outside of that, you can either give them a story, or they'll find one.

Perhaps...

I find the world an easier place to live in if you believe in the best intentions. But that's just me.
