The selling of the membership pack could have been forced upon him and had no option.saintbrat wrote:what would you sell?

Admiitedly though he should sell the members pack at face value.

Funniest thing I saw the other day was a "rare" sealed copy of the 1966 grandfinal

Re: Ebay and Saints items query
these membership packs are full of cheap plastic crap. i'm happy to hand mine over to anyone who wants it. otherwise it just goes in the drawer with the last fifteen years worth of crappy key rings and boring stickers.johnpeterbudgefanclub wrote:The selling of the membership pack could have been forced upon him and had no option.

For the last umpteenth years we used to get a members' cap in ours. This year? No cigar.bergholt wrote:these membership packs are full of cheap plastic crap. i'm happy to hand mine over to anyone who wants it. otherwise it just goes in the drawer with the last fifteen years worth of crappy key rings and boring stickers.johnpeterbudgefanclub wrote:The selling of the membership pack could have been forced upon him and had no option.

Get them out of the draw and list them on ebay Bergy, you are sitting on a reasonable amount of money.bergholt wrote:these membership packs are full of cheap plastic crap. i'm happy to hand mine over to anyone who wants it. otherwise it just goes in the drawer with the last fifteen years worth of crappy key rings and boring stickers.johnpeterbudgefanclub wrote:The selling of the membership pack could have been forced upon him and had no option.
Australia...... Live it like we stole it....... Because we did.
I have often wondered how much my most precious piece of memorabillia would be worth.
The Dooleys are minding it for me because I'm afraid of sending it overseas and it being damaged in the mail.
I have an original, hand signed (in blue pen, which is fading) signed photo by every member of the 1966 Grand Final team, signed at that time. I have no idea how much that would be worth, but have wondered.

I am always on the hunt for Mark Sofilas "The Team of the Century" poster. See a few of the other clubs about but never St Kilda's.
Met a bloke in Melbourne after GF 1 who was telling me he had the original , said he paid around 70k at club auction.
I'll settle for a $600 copy.

Times are tough - and memorabilia is just that - the stuff we remember is just that - memories.
I have a Tooheys training T shirt that was worn by Trevor - Melinda got it straight from his wardrobe for me - and got it signed by the 2000 team. I look at it longingly - but often think - How many mortgage payments is it worth - lol (And I expect to be flamed for even considering it)
I also have 40 of the Saints Supporters card - 37 of them signed (Barks, Burns, Sidey, Lockett etc)
My son also has a Nicky Winmar All Stars jumper with 20+ autographs on it as well.
