I renewed straight away last year so they're obviously still working through them.

As for our actual membership cards, the Club is waiting for the MCG to pull their fingers out before they can issue them. So it's not actually the Club's fault.

Finally got ours yesterday.
What's with all that other stuff?
Some sort of satchel for putting food?
And what looked like a man-bag but I think it must be for putting photos in, though the plastic is not very clear.
The key ring is so heavy it will put a hole in your pocket.
And now they will probably give us yet more scarves and caps.
We've got a whole drawer full of scarves!
Just drop the price by ten bucks and forget the scarves!

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

"Another storied win in Robert Harvey's career. They say he is the embodiment of their motto of strength through loyalty, and on the day he became just the tenth man to play 350 league games the saints reward him with a seemingly impossible victory."
And then people whinge they get nothing from their membership. Seriously why do we all whinge all the time. Its easy, dont like things, dont join, dont watch or dont read it.Enrico_Misso wrote:Finally got ours yesterday.

Anyway I am sick of whinging about whingers. Now I am off to watch the NAB cup on Foxtel with biased commentators whilst reading the crappy HS.
Have to agree with Plugger on this one....what is with all you whingers.
You whinge about EVERYTHING!!! I don't some of you can ever be pleased.
Why do you even bother if you are so unhappy with what the Club is doing/provides?
I must live in a very simple world where watching my beloved Club every week and having a membership makes me happy.

I like the scarves, i think it makes us stand out in the crowd. Spoke to the club yesterday and it will be a couple of weeks for membership cards to be issued. We have upgraded from level 3 reserved seat to level 1 reserved seat and our new seat still have not been allocated. You will also need your membership cards to pick up scarves and hats this year and it will be hole punched to say you have received it.
Yeh I would be pissed about that as well mate. You have a right to whinge about that. Have you rang them again? Want me to chase it for you?matrix wrote:i whinge when they f*** it up nearly every year
not because of what i get
how hard is it to add a new member to the same postal addy as one thats already in the system
did it on the phone
went thru all the details twice
and have still f***ed it
I was referring to everyone else banging on about the scarf, the hat, the keyring etc etc. Who freakin cares??

The club has stuffed up my membership every year for the last ten.
Every single year there is one thing or another.
Last year my daughters membership came with my name on it.
The year before they decided that I was a first year member, despite being in the SC for over thirty years continuously. I argued this point, several times but to no satisfaction.
Three times I have not received my membership cards until after round two.
In 2005 they TRIPLE charged me.
I'm generally pretty negative towards the membership department and I think I have had the experience to justify my bleating.
Just one little thing.... The junior $25 membership is very, VERY good value for money. The amount of brainwashing kiddie stuff you get is crazy. About 50 stickers, bag, little footy, money box, super ball, sipper cup and a lifesize Roo growth chart (with pants on). If you need to really stamp the St.Kilda bug onto a kid, this kit is a winner.
Anyhoo.

the keeping all Kids under 16 ( except the premium Rooey's recruits) to $40 for kids anywhere around the country or state or possibly world is great value..bigred wrote: Just one little thing....
