Ill be there..been meaning to go to one for a few years now but never get around to it

Think this year could be a a cut above your normal dull business meeting. Prez's address in particular would be worth the effort

Do you need your 2010 Membership card to get in?
YOu need to be passed as appropriate to attend - and be a financial members. and if you remember membership card thats fine- but the find you on a list

will be differant with the players in attendance

I wonder if those saying they are going to give them a piece of their mind do so- or just line up with a texta for a signature.

Id be really surprised if the players were made available for autographs..its an AGM not Family Day...especially in light of why they are there in the first place

What time does it start again?

6 for 7- register your presence before the meeting

I would hope they don't usher them in from the front and then let them elave before others.

Hopefully it's in the main hall and not that poky little room they used last year.
It was like the landing area to the stalls.
Must have been cheaper to hire but it was just about full.

With all the dramas there will probably be a lot more people this year.
At least 40 more for a start!

Barks was attacked and shouted down because he dared to ask questions.
Barks got shut down because he was re-hashiing old stuff about the move to Seaford. Plus he didn't follow the correct rules and regulations of running a meeting and he looked like a pillock.
Excuse me, were you there at the 2008 AGM?

OBVIOUSLY NOT!

BTW, I was NOT shouted down!

There was an attempt to shout me down, precisely at the point where I asked as to WHY this club did not stand up like Essendon and Collingwood regarding an away strip?

I pointed out that in the next few years we might play Collingwood in a Grand Final and we might be forced to play in an away strip on such an important occasion!

Therefore our away jumper should be our HOME jumper with a white back so that it is as close to the HOME jumper as possible and not one with a white panel the size of the Grand Canyon!

Greg Westaway interjected and said "We will wear our HOME JUMPER in Grand Finals"!

After last year I'd have thought the current board would have had the wake up call even though I warned them of this in 2008, but looking at this years clash jumper, they have no idea and have learnt nothing!

Put to a vote by the members, our away jumper would be our HOME jumper with a white back, without any doubt whatsoever, but for now we get served up this rubbish by a board completely out of touch!

You're just making stuff up, obviously you were NOT there!

I put my hand up and a microphone was put in front of me so I could ask my questions!

I then questioned the board in relation to Seaford at the start of the meeting and again asked more questions about our away strip at the end of the meeting!

On both occasions I had my hand up and followed all the conventions of a meeting, how is that in any way whatsoever, not following the correct rules and regulations of running a meeting!

I hope he is.

At least he has the balls to have a crack.

Good on him.

Its one thing to bleat on an internet forum, its another to make your opinion heard of question raised when you get the chance.

Nine out of ten on here would not have the guts.

"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....
