No but it woulds not have effected the fans as badly. Win a flag and they can do what they like as far as I am concerned. At the moment they have jack and the way one or two are going they may even get the jack.

Yes and No.
I think the whole Miami/Kimmi thing would have played out exactly the same regardless of how many medallions our boys had in their collection.

So you're saying that if we had won a flag the coach can says: "hey boys, go out and do want you want".
We would have won the flag and we still would have these issues. Maybe they should have kept them in house. Everyone's forgetting that they didn't have to go public on any of this. There are isues there but It's not as bad as it is being made out IMO.
Holder of unacceptable views and other thought crimes.

2013 trade/draft best ever?
Billings - future brownlow medallist Longer - future best ruck
Dunstan - future captain Eli - future cult hero
Acres - future norm smith
I think that some should remind Mike that Geelong had off field dramas prior to winning a flag...In fact one of their chief repeat offenders ended winning the Norm Smith.
And Collingwood have had to suspend players for behaviour including some high profile ones for various breaches of discipline...
I think it is the discipline brought in as a result of these issues that will define us. Our reaction (especially to Zac) is at the high end of the scale...Not saying it isn't justified...It must send a message to the players that stepping out of line will see you spend time on the sidelines.
No, just in their employ - oops I mean the employ of the Herald Sun which is the Collingwood version of Pravda.
Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

So as long as the Saints won the flag last year then this whole episode would have been OK. On the one hand you write that the club should be lambasted by the press because they didn't win the premiership but on the other, if they did win last year you would have agreed with everyone else on this site. Double standards if you ask me

He tipped Collingwood to win the 1980 Grand Final...which they then lost by a record 81 points!

"What do you think?"
You're hatred for all things Collingwood is sickenening Kiel. Is Kiel the worst number 17 to play for St.Kilda? Could think of 2-3 more.
