If he didn't say it, I wish he had said it. We would be in total agreement. No wonder we choked in the last few GFs, I would think Lenny would be gutted by this moronic behaviour.

I can only imagine, but surely as a young player you'd crap yourself if he said that to you... add a hangover to that and I reckon you may feel like throwing up too.Bernard Shakey wrote:From what I've heard he actually said "You can all get ......"
Ross seems to be playing word games.
I'm hopeful that this is the very last straw, and comes to be seen as the turning point.

We've been down that path with Brad Howard...markp wrote:Rockstars out, elite professional athletes in.
But i agree with you in regards to them being more professional.
The game has become saturated in media coverage, and in turn, increased advertising revenue.
The spotlight on players has increased and they have been adequately compensated both through wages and the oppotunities that being a professional sportsman provides, IMO. But a few of them must start to act like they deserve it.
I can't wait for the season to get under way! Then work banter might be a bit more enjoyable!

How long should we have to wait before there is an apology to go with the retraction? !!Devilhead wrote:Damian Barrett has retracted his statement regarding Ross Lyon telling the players to "go f##k themselves"

Id rather our players apologise to the supporters than some minor crap like that especially when id say it is at least half true.Eastern wrote:How long should we have to wait before there is an apology to go with the retraction? !!Devilhead wrote:Damian Barrett has retracted his statement regarding Ross Lyon telling the players to "go f##k themselves"

Re: Damian Barrett retracts Ross Lyon statement
Yep! But I don't believe Barrett should have to appologise anyway. It's not like he printed this statement. He wrote it on Twitter. It is no different to some of the other ridiculous statements written on this forum.plugger66 wrote:Id rather our players apologise to the supporters than some minor crap like that especially when id say it is at least half true.Eastern wrote:How long should we have to wait before there is an apology to go with the retraction? !!Devilhead wrote:Damian Barrett has retracted his statement regarding Ross Lyon telling the players to "go f##k themselves"
