Damien Barrett (via Twitter):
More trouble at St Kilda. Players broke curfew in NZ. Ross Lyon ropeable. At least two players to be suspended by leadership group.

Edited the thread title.Badlands wrote:If it's only a curfew break - and that's the end of the story, i'm almost relieved, to be honest.
Why did Adrian Anderson talk about it, I missed it, what did he say?
Still worrying to be honest, can't they all just pull their heads in given the current perception of the club

No not even slightly for a club that hasnt been in the news for the last year but for us it is a bigger deal than most clubs. On top of Bakes, Hayes, Rooy, Dal Gilbo and last years crap it shows some players still just dont get it.kosifantutti23 wrote:You think a curfew break is a big deal?plugger66 wrote:Yep. Nothing in it. Nothing in anything we do. Seems like most of it is the media's fault anyway.Badlands wrote:If it's only a curfew break - and that's the end of the story, i'm almost relieved, to be honest.

Breaking a curfew may not be a big deal.
The issue I have is the mindset of the players, would have thought that after not winning three grand finals in two years that you would be doing everything right to maximise your ability.
They all had a long enough break to get out and about, surely it is time to knuckle down.
Poor form, hope the leadership group fine and suspend them to make a statement of what is acceptable.
Seriously talk about behaving like a couple of naughty kids.
