To all those having a go at this, think about this, this is a brilliant result for the club.
We have handed out the olive branch, we have appeared to be forgiving and agreed to help this poor little girl.
That means that if she plays up again, the you know what will hit the fan for her and she wont have so many if any sympatheric supporters out there in the media.
After all she must be a real problem child if her parents have thrown her out, and you would think they would be the most tolerant people towards her.
Let's all hope that unlike the other person who caused us grief last year because he threw his opportunity down the toilet, she decides to take this opportunity to put something a bit more meaningful in her life other than bragging about what AFL players she has slept with.

Stealing personal photos off someone else's computer and then making them public whilst all while continually lying through your teeth ....... well that's another matter.

This young woman has deceived everybody from day one - lie after lie after lie and sympathy will only fuel her her troubling ego centric behaviour.

Providing her with a temporary accommodation might calm the storm but what she really requires is immediate pyschiatric treatment for her obvious narcissistic personality disorder.

Gilbert just needs treatment for being normal...... and also to enable him to kick with his right foot ...... and kick running goals in Grand Finals

The club are going out of their way to appear warm and cuddly to all the mums and dads out there so they can bring the families coming through the gate, but mums and dads have very short memories, in a couple of months this would have completely blown over.

However the true football fans wont forget this, and this is a huge sign of weakness from the club, and they have basically come out and bowed down to a 17 year old stalker who's main ambition in life is to get onto the cover of a mens mag.

So what would a strong club do or what do you think we should have done?

I would have liked the club to send a clear message saying stop what you are doing or there will be legal ramifications, I don't care if she is a 17 year old girl, she needs to learn about consequences, that way when she does get the magazine covers, tv deals etc. it will be going to Roo and Dal to help make up for the money that they could have potentially lost through marketing deals.

there have been 2 brief statements 1 from each side.
But could there not also be other conditions attached that neither party have mentioned- confidential..
whilst her accomodation ( could it be a monitored respite situation?) is being assisted by the club then you would think there would be ramifications if she were to continue her previous behaviour...

Bcos Roo, Zac, Dal and silly Sam behaved stupidly? Bcos Sam thought she was 19? Bcos she was in a nightclub with fake ID and looked every bit of 19?

The whole time Roo, Zac and Dal probably never even met the little tramp that eventually showed their nude pics to make a stand or women's rights against the treatment by AFL footballers and the AFL towards women.

But the photo's had nothing to do with her or bad treatment of her...but served up platefuls of immeasurable distaste and embarrassment to the said Roo, Zac and Dal.

I will back it in, that we HAVE NOT heard the last of her.

She's a nuffer, a twit, a stalker and a very very very vindictive one.

I have moved on to the stage where I believe Gilbo is a dill and Roo, Zac and Dal are just as silly, but the ripple effect that they will feel for many years to come and the harm done to our club by this little tart far outweighs her supposed stand against unfair treatment by footballers and the AFL.

Her next allegation may be about the counsellor that those dogs St Kilda set on her, who knows.

But I have dealt with nuffie stalkers like this one for many many years.

She will reappear because it is in her make-up. I would back it in that she will still be stalking footballers in 2015 and beyond. And if it's not footballers it will be soccer, rugby, TV stars, whatever she decides to focus on because it can feed her ego and keep her in the spotlight.

This is no win for the club, but more a token gesture they offered at mediation because they had to be see to be doing something

Extremely concerning BW&R. Our hard-earned is now paying this girl's accommodation.

I'd rather it came out of Gilbert's salary. He is the one who screwed up by getting involved with this type of girl, he is the one who needs to take responsibility.

I appreciate the club is trying to look like a fine moral citizen, which is good, but please - if we want to be this, why not invest that same money into finding accommodation to help homeless people in the St Kilda area?

The club are probably thinking that by throwing a bit of (OUR) money at Miss Slutty they have achieved a PR coup.
And if we never hear from the Root Train again they can justify it.

a) it was not the right thing to do, and
b) she is the sort of attention seeking whore who will bob up again and again

They are bigger BUTTs than Venus Williams.

A STRONG club would have dragged Cheap Root into court and really taught her a lesson.
With minimal research a legal team could have humiliated her and publicly destroyed her character by revealing the full extent of her depravity.
Then got some heavy handed injunctions slapped on her.

This cheap PR stunt sends the wrong message.
It gives her credibility.
And makes us look weak and a laughing stock.

She will now lose the sympathy she's gained from the whole 'poor little girl against evil big footy club' thing.

If she's living in accommodation paid for by the Saints, she'll really look ridiculous trying to carry on some 'crusade' against the club.
