I support the club's decision and I will buy membership again. The club must do any thing with in reason to contain the situation until this person is of age....after that she will have to face the consequences of her actions like all of us over 18 years of age.

Having said that, and notwithstanding the heartache she has caused to some of our boys, and taking note of the fact that two of our charges have "affairs" with her, I hold grave concerns for the future wellbeing of this young woman.

In this messy situation she is dealing with a good, law abiding club and individuals with in it. Some how I think she has this attraction to young men in a position of perceived power. After this incident, I do not think she can meet this attraction and need with sporting clubs. I think she will be persona non grata with all sporting clubs. And I fear that she will gravitate to young men with perceived power in the "dark side" and I do not think those types will respond to the behaviour she has displayed in the same way our club did............I am really really worried about her from one human to another perspective............and it is Ok with me if my club is trying to help her by bringing some stability in her life..........whether she make good of this act or not it is up to her.........

I say we should have gone hard line on her, FFS intervention orders if necessary. And certainly not admitted to any form of guilt by supporting her "rehabilitation".

Hard tough stance would have at least sent a strong message to her and to other clubs that when she does this to you, this is how you deal with it.

But we were doing that and it was making no difference so what is the point of continuing with that rubbish.

So by admitting some form of liability by paying for accommodation for her helps how? Shows her she can stalk whoever she wants and still get a free ride, free party. Keep an eye on her twitter, facebook and formspring over the next few months. It may go quiet short term but when the ransom money starts running out, just watch her demand more.

I'll stay with the club through blind loyalty (and don't the membership types at the club on strong commission love that) but disagree with the club's decision to fund her accommodation.

As I said in another post, if we want good PR, why don't we use that money to invest in accommodation for helping the homeless youths of St Kilda?

That would make more sense to me in terms of the club developing closer, meaningful ties with the community.
