Have read both.
The Bubble is an amazing insight into the club. I thought it would be focused on the fitness and injury management side of things (which would be interesting enough given the injury issues we had) but no, it is a 360-degree look at the entire footy department.
The club break-in at the start of September is highly suspicious. The two PCs targeted were the statistics machines, Macbooks in the room were left alone. So there can be little doubt it was a targeted theft. Bastards.
On a brighter note, I'm sure the locks and security systems at our new facilities are far superior

Why is it in the player profiles they can't list how many games and goals the player has for the club is it really that hard

Just finished The Bubble - Brilliant.
I too was quite surprised at some the the stuff going on with the players that you just don't know about with injuries and illnesses and how this can effect their form. I am impressed with how well they battle on in most cases.
It was also very interesting to read about how sometimes the whole team would just be down on energy/form/spirit, and often for no apparent reason.
Well fired up the the new season now!

Good read
I liked the "Judge Joey" stories.
One thing that stood out was the respect for Rob Eddy and his effort under injury. Although effort is paramount it was not enough to stop him from being delisted.

Re: Good read
Read it and thought is was very good.
There is huge respect for Gards.
We didn't play with the same discipline as we did in 2009 as per playing to coaches' instructions, structures etc. Jonsey was singled out.

Not quite what I meant...I meant the result of GF2 made the ending crap.Junction Oval wrote:Agree with Life Long Saint. A great read - shows how much "we don't know" about today's football.
A definite soft ending about GF2 and our fitness vs the 'woods. His insight would have been interesting. Hopefully holding back for 2011!
