She hasn't gotten away with it - making her destroy the images is just the first part of a long civil process. The parties have been sent to mediation. If they can't work it out in mediation they'll return to the court at some point next year (assuming that the Saints and Sam want to continue the matter). Hopefully by then the hysteria will have subsided a little.

I keep hearing how she is just a kid with troubles, let's not be bad to her.
Well remember that young child that was murdered in England by 13 year olds, gee wasn't much pity for them yet they we're much younger and more immature than this girl.
Jessica Watson sailed around the world when she was 16 and took responsibility.
Personally, I think our lawyers have got some facts that will show what a liar she has been and she will get destroyed in the court.
However, if she is willing to admit the truth, destroy the photo's and apologise, I'd be willing to leave it at that with the provido that if she does it again, shr will go to jail, go directly to jail do not pass go do not collect any royalties.
Incidently, I doubt anyone would purchase her story or pictures simply because the legal costs will far out weigh any profit they may make.

THE girl at the centre of St Kilda photo scandal has agreed to hand over all the pictures she has to the court and destroy any other copies in her possession.

IMO , until the club went tough i the media yesterday , she was doing what she liked . then ,after the tough stand, she got lawyers and agreed to destroy the photos.
Sounds like it was the only way to get success, to get it to sink into her head that she can't release the other photos she also has.

not sure what else they were meant to do- after all the club needs to stand up for protecting our players.

There's no reaslitic way of police it but more importantly, if she did post any further material from SG's laptop, she will have disobeyed a directive of the court. It would be incredibly stupid to do so and if she did, she would enter a serious world of legal pain.

My best guess is that she's posted everything she had - at least everthing of an embarrassing nature. In a way it's too little too late, but it's worth getting the directive just in case she had more up her sleeve. At least it keeps any other personal (but less explicit) material that she stole out of the public eye.

I suspect that one organisation or another eg DHS has arranged for her vast legal team to accompany her to court, so no doubt the Legal Aid bill will be paid courtesy of the taxpayer.

Still, there is every chance the legal team spelled it out quite clearly what it would mean to defy the court orders.

Now let's hope a proper legal guardian will be appointed to take control of her in every way, I have doubts about where the money for clothes and flights is being sourced, and I don't mean the 27 year old who took her to Sydney nor her parents who from Ross Levin have given up as well.

By the way I loved the more demure court dress but I thought the cross around her neck was a little over done. She can't have found God in the last 24 hours! But the cigarette was ready to be lit once she was out of the view of the cameras. Hope that wasn't happening during the pregnancy.

I do wonder if we've done the right thing now. I mean, Dal and Zac seem to have stayed quiet, and we aren't really talking about them. Saints and Roo spoke up, and this is still in the news.

I know if we did nothing, we'd be letting her win and who knows, more photos may have been released - but apart from a bit of embarrassment, I'm sure we'd all have moved on after xmas. Don't we teach our kids that when we are bullied, we ignore it as we don't want to go down to their level?

I just feel as though we are playing her games now, and somehow, we now look like the bad guy for attacking this 'poor innocent little schoolgirl' as some people seem to have labelled this 'thing'.

FFS I copped some bullying in my workplace when I was 44 years old - yes 44 years old and had been in my job for 24 years - from a person who was revered as one who could do no wrong - stood up to the pricks and one resigned, other two transferred. But obviously I should have ignored it and it would go away if I sat in a corner pretending it wasn't happening and don't lower myself to their level...is that what we're teaching our kids?
