Young Kimmie under an alias... Will she stop at nothing....krabb wrote:Its actually laughable.
Nick's going to sue chanel 7 for showing a distorted picture of him in the nuddie...lol.
Go into Google Nick...cuz you're there in all your glory.
How many people now have copies of these pictures?
Its unstoppable....unpreventable...and they're spitting in the wind.
The internet is as big as the ocean....and nobody owns one little piece of it.
What about her sueing Gilbert for allegedly having sex with a minor?
Think that couldnt happen?
This is a mess of huge proportions...and it all comes back to footballers acting like overpaid rockstars and encouraging underage groupies into their privacy.
Not one ounce of sympathy from me to any of them for acting like morons.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

The surprising thing to me is that because he is a footballer it is assumed that some how he is beyond emotion and is infinitely more mature than other early 20s males.
The story could easily be seen from his point of view as- meets an attractive young lady. Dates said young lady only to have mates point out that she is also on with other guys.
All of a sudden she is pregnant as you go to break off the relationship. She claims to know its yours and no one elses.
She claims to have miscarried while you hear reports she is continuing to sleep with other guys. All of a sudden it's twins and she seems to be stalking you at work.
You later find she has posted pictures you had on your computer showing your mates being dickheads on a footy trip. Your mates all think your the worlds greatest prick.
You are humiliated in front of your mates and the whole uni/ workplace whatever.
Shitty scenario -change that to the whole country being involved and Sammy must be hurting pretty bad right now.

With all of the court action especially with the email to her father confirming her appearance in court today, what ever happened to her "guardian" the 27 year old who took her to the Sydney game, and got her into the nightclubs which kicked off the whole ugly situation?
Finally go the flick by DHS who realised how stupid their decision was to put this girl into the custody of someone who was no better?

Let's not forget that in some media stories, where the AFL sponsored counselling and the affidavits are mentioned, the claim has been she got pregnant to another St.Kilda player, not Gilbert (check the stories).
So, where is the truth and why have so many leapt to condemnation of their own on the claims of someone who can't tell the same story 2 days in a row, all pumped up by a controversy seeking multi media mob?

Maybe Dr Spaceman, but I would not be surprised if a year a from now when she has turned 18 she will be offered good money tyo take her clothes off for Zoo weekly or Ralph or some publication like that.
In all honesty, I would hope she would just go off and live a quiet happy life and fulfill some of her dreams.
But, then again, she may unfortunately like the spotlight to much and think that a big pay out is what life is all about and accept the offer.

Not that she does anything for me, but obviously some blokes find her attractive and she's happy to trade on this for what she sees as an easy life. Girls like her need to realise they are only a disfigurement away from a life spent sleeping under a bridge.

Everything you read about this slapper suggests she's a big chance to rock up at Court tomorrow with "F**k U" painted on her nails like that magnificent role model Lindsay Lohan.stinger wrote:nah......a number of promotional organisations are falling over themselves to give her a job......probably thunk they are in with a chance for more than tea and bikkies being served up by the office girl.....3rd generation saint wrote:The only career she may make money out of after this episode would be a porn star.

The club did the right thing by stopping the photos and have been winning the public relations battle but sueing a 17 girl who obviously has huge issues now loses us the public relations battle. The girl was obviously in the wrong but what is the point of sueing her.
It comes across as a huge footy club ganging up against one young girl. Yes I know a few on here say she deserves what she gets but i would rather the club get on the fronty foot and offer her help. She will probably reject it but it will at least make the club look like they are doing the right thing.

I disagree with this. The club in conjunction with the undoubted backing on the AFL must take a stand, not just for now but for the future.plugger66 wrote:The club did the right thing by stopping the photos and have been winning the public relations battle but sueing a 17 girl who obviously has huge issues now loses us the public relations battle. If the AFL club was meek and was a victim in this, how many other numbskull slappers will invade the privacy of footballers?
This person is not above the law and should be made an example of to show the generation who have grown up with social networking that there can be consequences for their actions.
She has shown scant regard for Nick Riewoldt, a person she doesn't even know. Her actions have been unlawful by stealing others property, and malicious inthe way she spitefully attempted to destroy a footballers reputation and brand.
Nick Riewoldt said he wouldn't be a victim, and with going in so hard shows he means business.
PR is irrelevant, it is now before the courts and this person has to answer to the laws of our land - end of story.
Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

Understand what you're saying p66 though I don't necessarily agree.plugger66 wrote:The club did the right thing by stopping the photos and have been winning the public relations battle but sueing a 17 girl who obviously has huge issues now loses us the public relations battle. Trouble with kids these days is they want to be adults when it comes to sex and alcohol, but kids when it comes to responsibilities and punishment.
Do we know the club hasn't tried to help her? In any event, that is the role of the parents, the school, the authorities etc.
In the meantime we have innocent employees of the club having their reputations trashed. Poor Nick has to explain to his family, his new girlfriend and her family, his friends and his sponsors why the world is looking at him grabbing his old fella!
Everyone will have a different view on this. Mine is that the club needs to go hard and other parties can do what they need to do.
Yes but Sam doesnt have to sue her. Her life is going downhill quickly and support may be the better way to go. PR is important. Obviously you dont care about it but many do.joffaboy wrote:I disagree with this. Well, the Court Order from yesterday seems to be working (not).
If you do a google search on Kim Duthie the offending picture pops up under 'Images for Kim Duthie' as the #2 image.
On her twitter page she has stated that there is a '60/40 chance of a Court Appearnce and that she will be represented'.
