Thankfully, the Herald-Sun seems finally to realise where the fault may lie.

Amazing that they actually mentioned the "C" word...Collingwood. But it just says she 'celebrated' with them. Not sure if you'll find that meaning of 'celebrated' in a dictionary.

Notice 'St Kilda" is mentioned twice as many times...2.

What a classy young girl she must be... She sure gets around, next stop Shane Warne??

This bit is a little worrying, expect them to run with it and start saying we are paying her hush money or somehtng along those lines.

She has also told the Herald Sun the St Kilda Football Club has been paying for her to stay in city hotels, and has continued to socialise with players.

This was in the paper Thursday, this cop is the senior officer in the current Collingwood invetigation into two players.

I am not actually seeing the reasoning for us to be brought up at all, what am I missing here?

I can't believe this, but the only link I can see, is this same girl the one that is involved in this Collingwood story?

Mr Davies had a reputation in police circles as a rising star and had been placed in charge of a series of sensitive investigations, including rape allegations against two Collingwood footballers.

He had been selected to represent Victoria Police at top-level seminars on sexual assaults and oversaw the introduction of international computer software to identify child pornographers and internet stalkers.

Police sources said Mr Davies was ''shattered'' by the decision.

The OPI last night released a statement that said: ''Victoria Police suspended an inspector on full pay yesterday as a result of an ongoing Office of Police Integrity investigation.

If that is true i can't see why the papers aren't running with the much bigger story of the cop in charge of investigating the incident involving Collingwood players was sleeping with a girl that hangs around with Collingwood players?

Glenn Davies is an Inspector in charge of the Sexual Crimes Squad, the unit which was investigating the initial complaint from the teenager? [edit: investigated the Collingwood post-premeriship allegations?] He has been suspended over something that surfaced through an OPI investigation.

This new article relates to a Senior Constable from the South Eastern suburbs.

And isn't the same as the Eastern suburbs Sergeant who leaked the Lovett stuff.

Different people, different circumstances from they way I read it.

Apparently she is encouraging friends to circulate the photo as much as possible!

Agree St Michelle. I doubt the club would allow itself to be blackmailed, and I am sure there is enough ppl at the club to not allow this sort of situation to continue

A VICTORIA Police officer has been charged with having sex with a girl under his supervision as an officer.

The senior constable, based at a south eastern suburbs station, was charged with four offences this morning following an Ethical Standards Department investigation.

He has been charged with:

PROCURE child under supervision or care for sexual penetration,

PROCURE child under supervision or care for an indecent act,

MISCOUNDUCT in public office and,

SUPPLY alcohol to a minor.

He is set to appear at the Melbourne Magistrateâ€™s Court this morning and is now suspended without pay.

I think this should remind everyone that it's not just footy players that when put in situations that require a bit of common sense, they fall a fair way short of community standards.

Like AFL clubs the police force has good and bad people, I actually feel sorry for this guy as he has f$#@ed up a promising career over someone that is obviously a little troubled. Still should have known better and made a really poor decision.

I could be wrong but I think 17 is the age of consent. Not a minor just a person under his care was my understanding.

It doesn't mean that morally it is right just legally. Depends if the guy was young himself or not as to how morally bankrupt it was.

I always thought the age of consent is 16 BUT is 18 years of age if the person aged 16 to 18 has sex with a person more that 2 years older than them that holds some form of authority over them e.g. a teacher, foster parent, or ummm a police officer involved in an investigation for example ... so under my understanding at 17 she would be under the age of consent to have sexual relations with this policeman.
