Just something to bear in mind....

The Facebook fan page "Saints Footy" (run in his ..umm..own unique style by ex-SS mod Milan Faletic) has just announced they are going to sponsor a player. Theyve apparently already been allocated a player but hes not announcing who it is til a BBQ they are having on Sunday. I have very good reason to believe though that its Arryn Sippos

Not sure if that takes him out of our calculations?

Personally, I'd love to go down the 1 Leadership, 1 Core & 2 Development road.

Out of Leadership:
Lenny or BJ

Core:
Rhys

Development:
Lynch, Walsh, Winmar or Cripps.

$2,200 + 1950 + 2900 = $7050

Would cost less than 5 development players but would love to see BJ or Lenny's face everytime Saintsational opens up! Plus Leadership is only $250 more than Core.

Thoughts??? Sorry for throwing a spanner in the works...

I believe that the leadership players would probably have a sponsor lined up early. I think we should also try cater for players that struggle for sponsors (eg. Walsh in 2010 or Tungatalum in 2009).

Just as an aside, think yourself lucky you all get a choice in who we sponsor. Over at saints footy, the admins chose tne player and no correspondance will be entered into lol

I like the idea of going with developement players so that maybe all players will be sponsored as they were this year. and don't mind which players-

and would like to suggest starting wtih say 3 or 4 so that it can be easily covered and if shares promised is looking ok then increase-
each Development player requiries 97 shares
X 2 = 194 X 3 =291 X4 = 388
a core player requiries 130 shares

the way I read it each player can have up to 4 Standard sponsorships
and 1 premium sponsorship - so up to 5 sponsors or sponsor groups per player
and even if they only get part way on some players it's agreat step forward from when many players weren't sponsored at all and only had one..
