three things stood out for me---
-he is happy to be ' home' at moorabbin even if there are no grandstands and he is holding meetings in the disco room
-he has been in contact with Ross regularly over the past two years

-he has been pleased with the way the players have come back wanting to work hard again and give it another shake- to see their attitude/ confidence isnt dented

and he is nearly 40 so enough odler than them to not have too much problem with having been their former teammate... and has developedthe 'coach' role with being away from the club- he felt he needed to do that.
