From the same school as Milney.....until he went to Hallam sports school in Y11
Could play as a Mid as a 13-15yo....then grew about 4 inches in a year to 6'1 and switched to FF in U16 where he kicked 90 odd goals for Beacy....grew another inch as he went to stingrays and played as a high fwd capable of using his exc kicking to advantage either kicking 55m goals or hitting leads...he is a beautiful kick on either side..
His strength as a young junior were his evasive skills (which is why Ross spoke about his ability to turn players inside out) very competative one on one and very courageous...kicking (as I said) and clean hands...
He was clearly the best sportsman in his year level (played cricket/footy/basketball) and in the best few on district sports days (hald a dozen schools)....a good allrounder...
He is a atheletic rather than thick build. Not an overly strong player/hard player but more in the reiwoldt style with eyes on the ball and clean hands and works hard.
He has talent.....lives for sport and generally listened well....
has some draw backs, which hopefully will be ironed out...
His attitude is interesting....a mixed bag.....one minute you think he is the best kid going around, then you see something that makes you think otherwise...
Had a habit of dropping his head and sulking if things were not going right, and he was getting beaten, he also critisised his team-mates when the stuffed up or cost him. But in doing so, never stopped trying when he had to compete. A bit selfish sometimes....hopefully he has changed some of these things.
Overall, I am a little surprised he got picked up....played OK without dominating TAC cup/Champs....is an in between size....and a couple of other ???'s
but he has tools....and it was his dream to be an AFL footballer....so the desire should be there

nice to see a recruit with real goal sense and a great kick
finally a third tall forward in the exact mould we need
very bad news for Tom Lynch and Nick Heyne

The admin staff have some explaining to do to allow that to happen and yet totally wipe other posters from re joining this site...
Hypocrites!!!
They lay down the rules hard, and for some reason just let it go ....
I really cant follow this forum's rules.
I know seem to know why we have posters (some good ones) that have left this site....
THE ADIM DON'T EVEN FOLLOW THEIR OWN RULES!!!!
It's not that hard to enforce your own rules FFS
Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!

However they all look good on the "YouTube League" at this time of year. Go back 2 years and I'm sure both Tom and Nick looked like guns in the highlight reels. In fact I can't recall a recruit that didn't look the goods on video.
The reality is that it will only be "very bad news for Tom Lynch and Nick Heyne" if Siposs tears it up at Sandy, something neither Tom or Nick have managed to do, consistently, to date.

I think he actually kicked 11 against you.Sainter93 wrote:I played for fountain Gate in u16 last year. He was playing for beacy when we came up against them and he was a freak. A great mark, especially one on one and kicked about 8 goals on us. He is a gun. All the best to him and hope he can deliver for us!!

Pick #75; Arryn Siposs
Height: 188cm
Weight: 82kg
DOB: 25/11/92
Club: Dandenong Stingrays (Vic)
Kevin Sheehan says: Arryn is a strong-marking player who is an excellent kick for goal and very team-oriented. Averaged 15 disposals and kicked 34 goals for Stingrays this year. Vic Country U18s rep in 2010.
Arryn Siposs (Pakenham) H: 189cm, 80kg
The bolter in the pack, Siposs only joined the Stingrays this year after two stunning seasons as a Beaconsfield junior. You won't find a better set-shot for goal; his textbook technique is as reliable as it is fluent. A strong pack mark in and good on the lead, Siposs will take time to adjust to the physicality of the AFL but is one to watch. Coming from a long way back, he needs to brush up his defensive skills and improve his speed, but his booming 55m kick, sure hands and 34 TAC Cup goals are enough to warrant selection.
Resembles: Jack Riewoldt
Will be drafted: pick 40-60
Strong-marking and smart-moving forward who could play third-string in attack. Not known to be the hardest worker on a footy field, but his talent has ensured interest from a range of clubs.
