Well I am and I agree with him. The whole jumper thing is a furphy. As long as it's red, black and white in some recognisable form it's OK with me; surely there are bigger fish for our club to fry than that?

how do you guys manage to convince yourselves that the jumper even matters? it's the club itself that matters - the players and coach matter as much as they give to the club, the symbols surrounding it are just that - symbols, which mean nothing as long as they're unambiguously st kilda.

Of course it has no affect on our performance and yes there are bigger fish to fry.
Nonetheless supporters invest a hell of a lot of emotion and cash following this club of ours so they are entitled to be happy with the uniform. Certainly the topic of the jumper is more relevant and justified with some of the other threads raised in the silly season.
Personally I wasn't sure about it at first but it is growing on me.
You'll never get whole supporter agreement about the jumper, so it's a waste of energy IMO. As long as it's a Saints jumper in our colours, then move on to bigger issues (like getting some pace and disposal skill into the side, for example ...)
