Daffy Suggests
24. Pat Karnezis (Oakleigh Chargers): Is a talented half-forward with x-factor who leads forward and back. He has only just given up soccer for footy.

Kevin SHeehan doesn't rank them except top 30

15. JED LAMB
(Gippsland Power, 18, 181cm, 79kg)
Mr X factor. The plethora of midfielders available could see him slip down the order, but has huge natural talent and the ability to turn a game. As a forward, is a smart lead who can kick goals from all imaginable angles. Knows how to get involved on a wing too. Likeable, enthusiastic and, while flashy, is also very determined.
■Where will he be picked?
A chance in the late teens, perhaps to North Melbourne or Hawthorn. Beyond there, could be considered by Sydney at No. 21 or St Kilda at No. 24.

Lamb would be a huge get for this club. Milne won't be around forever and we don't exactly have a lot of exciting options at the small forward spot. IMO he'd be a steal at 24. I just have a hard time believing that he'll still be there when we pick. It's not like he's tiny.
Yeah nah pleasing positive

There will be quality at Pick 24. There is close to 30 really good prospects and while Lamb or Prestia might get picked up earlier, it means someone else will slide, maybe Caddy or Smith. There will also be a few bolters who haven't really been talked about. Tape has really pushed into contention and now will most likely be taken mid to late teens, leaving more draftees for the saints.Quixote wrote:Severe doubts Prestia or Lamb will be around come #24.
I'm worried we're going to get Wayde Skipper.

Yes looks good... but may not be there at 24.vacuous space wrote:Lamb would be a huge get for this club. But yes would think that they would be looking at that style of player as we already have Steven and Armo.
Harper may be a more likely end result.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....
Hope so. We've certainly got the picks.Saintersss wrote:There will be quality at Pick 24. When I mentioned Skipper (or any other recycled player for that matter) I meant further down the draft line. Lyon is an absolute certainty to take one of them, at least.
Fortius Quo Fidelius Yo
one thing in our favour is we dont have a 1st round pick
take out hayes, reiwoldt, goddard & dal santo & the rest have ended up as a mixture of gops & duds
beetham, kossi, ball, both clarkes, armitage, mcqaulter, bloody watts & brookes & chuck in lovett for good measure & i'm more than happy with pick 24 than pyssing another top ten up against the wall
