I'd take half a Michael Rix over Mitch Hahn.
Hahn's well past it.
Hahn's well past it.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Re: Surely we would look at Hahn
yeah, i'd give him serious consideration. despite being a bit worse this year, he still averaged 16 touches, 5 marks, almost 3 tackles, almost a goal a game. if he could kick 1.5 goals and have 4 or 5 tackles a game then he'd be well ahead of other hff candidates - and i think he's still capable of that.Batnoe wrote:Our time is now, would offer more than a rookie and is 29
Mitch Hahn is the Michael Hussey of the AFL..ie, his best days are well and truly behind him
Its a real trap to draft players on their form 3-4 yesrs precious. Hahn would fall into that category.
Also, as others have mentioned, even if he finds form he's 29 and really just taking a space that could be used by someone, God forbid, under 23

He had a very poor 2010, but - unless there are chronic fitness issues - his talent surely won't have deserted him entirely.
I'd prefer him to most of the other recycling possibilities that have Bern thrown around on here lately.
Hahn might be a has been, but at least he's not a "never was".

Ah, Michael Frost rejected by the Dogs at the end of 1993 after only 13 games.kosifantutti23 wrote:He reminds me of Jack Frost.
Kenny Sheldon pounced, he used our first round pick No 8!!!! to grab the reject.
Sheldon claimed Frost was "hard at the ball".
Sadly Sheldon failed to realise Frost never got the ball.
Frost only played 11 games for St Kilda before be rejected again.
Kenny sure could pick 'em.
