New Assistant Coaches

Post: # 1016729Post SaintWodonga »

I am wondering will the new coaches influence Lyon in picking the team?

It was clear that we needed to play more youth last year and RL had some favs.

Any improvement must come from the youth, the bottom 6 now won't win the flag.

I hope we become more attacking and put score board pressure on. Which of the new coaches do you think will impact the most?

No idea - but I'm VERY happy with the appointment of one R Harvey.

I would have preferred two, but I guess you can't be picky...

cant say i know much about the role Adam Kingsley played on Port's coaching panel. Appointment came as a surprise to me as I would have thought there would be many more well credentialled coaches looking to get to St Kilda.

Can anyone shed some light on Kingsley's coaching background and role moving forward at the Saints ?

Similarly don't know much about Adam but I do know that Mark Williams is (still) very highly regarded.

So I think we've done well to get a bloke who's coached under Chocco and another who's coached under Churchill :)

As far as I know Kingsley was (defense)back ...coach

Berbakov also defense coach at swans...I think has been officially announced as defense(back) coach 2011

Kingsley??? 2011

Who will be forward coach??

Hudson will he do this plus development manager?

I heard that Adrian Anderson is going to put a cap on assistant coach rotations.

A limit of one assistant coach change per club per month.

To make this work, all assistant coaches will be issued yellow post-it notes with the name of their current club on it.
When they leave they must return the post-it note to the AFL Assistant Coach Interchange Steward.
Then the new asst coach cannot begin duties until the post-it note is reissued to him after the AFL Assistant Coach Interchange Steward confirms that the Assistant Coach Interchange Cap has not been exceeded for that month.

Once again Adrian is right on top of his portfolio.

Maybe Seaford is the reason we got Harvey back as he lives fairly locally.
