Well I haven't actually seen Seaford, but from what I've read on here it doesn't really cater for crowds, and from what I can tell based on people's comments, whenever we hold an open training session it will still be at Moorabbin.ChicagoSaint wrote:what makes you say that Gill?#1GILL wrote:Wouldn't be surprised if we play that at Moorabbin.Ice Wolf wrote:What if it's a draw?ChicagoSaint wrote:one, the intra-club.saintspremiers wrote:how many games do you think we will win at Seaford next season children??
This is based on no fact at all, just what I've read here

I would support based on Club official at official club functions.#1GILL wrote:Well I haven't actually seen Seaford, but from what I've read on here it doesn't really cater for crowds, and from what I can tell based on people's comments, whenever we hold an open training session it will still be at Moorabbin.ChicagoSaint wrote:what makes you say that Gill?#1GILL wrote:Wouldn't be surprised if we play that at Moorabbin.Ice Wolf wrote:What if it's a draw?ChicagoSaint wrote:one, the intra-club.saintspremiers wrote:how many games do you think we will win at Seaford next season children??

well done and a great way to ' find for self' for informed discussion...GrumpyOne wrote:Felt compelled to check out Belvedere myself this weekend.
Lots of tradies hard at work inside, and they were working on the carpark outside.
Oval needs topdressing, but has a decent coverage of grass.
Quite happy with what I saw, will be an excellent resource, and considering the complaints on here, surprisingly easy to find from the city.

I am pretty sure there will only be closed sessions at Moorabbin and obviously all open at Seaford and when they only get about 100 there i am pretty sure they can handle that.#1GILL wrote:Well I haven't actually seen Seaford, but from what I've read on here it doesn't really cater for crowds, and from what I can tell based on people's comments, whenever we hold an open training session it will still be at Moorabbin.ChicagoSaint wrote:what makes you say that Gill?#1GILL wrote:Wouldn't be surprised if we play that at Moorabbin.Ice Wolf wrote:What if it's a draw?ChicagoSaint wrote:one, the intra-club.saintspremiers wrote:how many games do you think we will win at Seaford next season children??

the game is more for the players.
the intra-club is 95% likely to be at seaford.
the event parking at seaford will see the cricket oval opened-up.
council will ultimately make it available on a permanent basis as our event carpark.
it's no stress.

It took 23 minutes from the Manhattan Pub in Ringwood to the NEW place the other day, travelling via Eastlink and Seaford Road. My guess is that it would take Ross about 28-30 minutes from his digs in Templestowe, which would be much quicker than it would take him to get to Moorabbin !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Had a look at the Linen House Centre today - 23 minuites from Moorabbin observing speed limits.
The oval looks fantastic, recently cut and is the same couch grass as Moorabbin. The playing surface will only improve beyond excellent the more it is treated and cut.
The car parking areas appear finished with plenty of landscaping being done at the moment.
The building structures are complete, fit out near completion with painting well under way.
Not long I would suggest before the Club takes occupancy.
