Saints duffle coats
Hi
I know duffle coats were popular in the 70s and then went out of style.
They were briefly available at the club shop about a year or two, but are no longer on the website.
The club website says there are some clearance items at the shop, which are not on the website. Almost every time I've rung the club shop to ask what is there that isn't on the website, people tell me that everything is on the website. When I say the Saints Locker indicated that there may be some things at the shop which aren't on the website, they say, no everything is there.
Well, the thing is... I am looking for a Saints duffle coat... so I have a few questions:
1. Has anyone been to the club shop and do you know if there are any duffle coats on sale?
2. Do you know what the clearance items are which aren't on the website?
3. Do you know anywhere I can get an adult St Kilda duffle coat? (Can't find one on ebay or goodscore either).
4. Anyone have an old one from the 1970s?
Size medium, large, or extra large. (I'd fill out the extra large by wearing layers!)

Here's my pride and glory from the 70s
Oddly enough I bought a camel duffle coat when i was down in Melbourne in April. It's very stylish.
It was from a place in Glen Huntly Rd called the coatman

edit: oops that first image was a bit big

Mine hasn't survived quite as well and is a bit average compared to your impressive number
It hasn’t been worn for 30+ years but I can’t bring myself to chuck it out.
Although it’s seen better days I must say I’m pretty impressed by all that hand drawn, hand cut and hand stitched felt signage. Not bad at all for a young, heterosexual lad, if I do say so myself.

Hey, I'd forgotten about those duffle coats! They were all the rage in the 60's & 70's. They seemed to vanish about the same time as rotary dial telephones. Pity as they are very warm in cold weather. Cool jacket BTW, I take it the No.2 is for Garry Sidebottom which would date the coat to 1978/79?
Bump... I'm still looking for a Saints Duffle Coat...
Today, I saw Goodscore has a clearance on a child's size 4 duffle coat, but that wouldn't fit. However, the fact that Goodscore has them for kids must mean they are around somewhere.
Can anyone help? It's been over a year I've been looking now.

It looks like the duffel coat has come out of the closet after 30 years, maybe its time for you to follow suit. Not that there's anything wrong with that.Dr Spaceman wrote: Very impressive cowboy18

There is nothing wrong with that Kosi, but it's a bit harsh nonetheless.kosifantutti23 wrote:It looks like the duffel coat has come out of the closet after 30 years, maybe its time for you to follow suit. Not that there's anything wrong with that.Dr Spaceman wrote: Very impressive cowboy18

I can assure you that Mrs Spaceman has nothing to be concerned about
