That ball is a very strange shape
You would think the round one would be easier to mark when trying to take it on your chest. It kept bouncing off his chest.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the idea of playing him forward, especially if Raph comes back in down back. I think Gilbert could give us a different look up forward and certainly worked well in GF one. NOt so much in GF2, yet he had three gettable shots so was getting to the right spots and getting the ball. Something to work with. Ross has been keen on this for sometime and I get the feeling he might persist with it this time.
