That's not really fair, he did an ankle pre-season. It's hard enough for a draftee to crack a team like ours, without a pre-season it's impossible.

It's the special bit that makes me not want to write off 2011.

There's a lot of young talent at the club and were hoping and expecting a few of them to really take the bit between the teeth next year. Not many of them however are what you'd call "special" on exposed form.

You know when you see someone whether they have the right temperament and/or physicality required.
I'm going early on him and am stating that the kid will be a STAR half back flanker.
