What a lot of crap. Second is better than 3rd but it isnt succeeding and comparing it to a silver medal is crap. Would Cathy Freeman have thought it a success winning silver in Sydney. No way. We have had a great run since 2004 but in the end we have achieved nothing. People will say we have a had a great era but that says more about our club not having success. What clubs talk about successful era's but they dont include a flag. Not many I would think.

Seems logical.
And that is why we are perennial losers.
No offence but that atttiude permeates our club. We want FIRST and only FIRST.
FFS we have lost 4 GFs and drawn one since 1966.
I would rather have what Collingwood did this year AND THAT IS ALL I WANT AND I WONT REST UNTIL WE GET IT.
If the Magpies can do it, then surely we are a shoe in with the right, SINGLE MINDED ATTITUDE???
No offence intended to anyone I AM JUST SO FRUSTRATED when the filth cna do it.
The only thing worse would be if Carlton win one before us.

I know exactly where you're coming from Sainternist and I for one am in agreement.Sainternist wrote:all of you negative nancies itt are missing the point.
ffs, the club is finally going places.
but i guess most of you would prefer the good old days of cellar dwelling
As much as I desperately want a flag, and won't be completely happy until I witness one, the 22 weeks of the H & A season are important to any football supporter.
To be able to go to the footy each week with your mates and, more often than not, experience a victory has made the last two and a half seasons most enjoyable.
Yes we won't be truly successful until we snag the big one - but I do know exactly what you mean.
