dont assume anything.
I am worried about one of CJ or Faz... Real worried.
If armo did stay hed have plenty of opportunities in a post len-dog decade.
So what is he supposed to do in the meantime? just hang out and watch his career dwindle away until he possibly gets a call up or Lenny retires. What a joke.
He needs to do one of two things.
1. Work harder to get in the team for next year, or
2. Leave and join another team or subject himself to possible and short career.
It's as simple as that.
again my opinion., so no reading between the lines you conspiracy theorists.

Hey DWOODROW with all due respect I think you should refrain from discussing your bother on this very public footy forum. It's just a suggestion because you are doing him no favours at the moment.

I understand where you are coming from but I don't think I am saying anything that most people would be thinking am I.????/

How so? it's a forum with opinions isn't it???
Yes it is however just try to remember that you could become a liability to Dave whether he is at the Saints or another club by engaging in discussion about him in such a public manner.

Don't understand the comment that DWOODROW is doing Armo no favours
Don't worry Woodrow. I like hearing about a family perspective of how hard it is to break into the big time. You realise how many lives are effected by one players career. When guys are on the periphery they are in a really stressful and uncertain position.
I hope he makes it and you get to look back at all the uncertainty and turmoil and have a laugh when he's playing his 200th game and an establish Saints star. Hope you stay with us even if he does go to the suns, always worth reading.

They've taken Harbrow already.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
I imagine it would be pretty unlikely that they'd be going after Cloke, as it was mentioned in the paper today that signing Ablett has left GC very little room in their salary cap. Cloke would surely only move away from a club that looks likely to win a flag in the next few years if he was offered something like $600,000+, which I doubt the Suns would be able to fit into their cap.
I've heard that no Saints are going up north. My source is completely unreliable, has no basis whatsoever to know anything, and has a poor track record with predictions (no, not Damien Barrett).
I like the story though, so choose to believe until proven wrong.

So cancel out the following teams:
Saints
Pies
Brisbane
Crows
Geelong
Bulldogs
Port
Hawks
So that leaves us with an uncontracted player from one of the following:
Kangaroos
Carlton
Essendon
Freo
Melbourne
Tigers
Sydney
West Coast
I believe it may be someone from Carlton.
Out of interests sake, where do they so claim?

They interviewed their CEO this morning. Definitively stated that no Saints or Pies players are in their sights UNLESS the big name player they are currently eyeing off doesn't agree to terms with them. Then it is back to the drawing board and poaching whomever they can.

dont assume anything. im still concerned about CJ and Faz.
I agree - odds are for armo. But im worried about CJ and Faz...
Don't want any of them to go. However, if I had to choose, Armo would be the one. He seems to be 'unsettled' and not happy with his current role within the team. Can't see CJ or Ray wanting to leave this group. Ross has turned both of their careers around.
Don't rely on turning their careers around - Geelong created Mumfords career out of nothing and he still left. Ray is on of my favourite players and we'd struggle without CJ, so I'd be devastated to lose either of these guys. I'm concerned about their lack of signing, but I don't know what's been offered to them/how the Saints go about their signings, so I'm hoping they're just waiting until after the Grand Final to sign them.
Armo for Houli seems like a good swap for both parties at the moment, but having said that I'd probably prefer to retain him. I just really don't want to lose Ray or Jones, both vital players.
