Fellow Sainters,

I thought I was over the worst of it.
The Collingwood supporter I told to f*^k off on Monday (he'd sent nast texts during the last quarter) actually apologised to me yesterday. He said he'd been off his face and didn't realise how upset I was.

I thought by today it'd all be stale news. But no! Received an email from 'colleagues' this morning with a 'poster' (very funny...ha ha) of Nick missing that goal in the first quarter labelled "Jack's retarded brother". I wrote GO F*CK YOUSELVES!" (without the self-censorship) and hit 'reply all'. The a*sh*les didn't even get the message because the net nanny quarantined it.

These people are very sad...they don't even barrack for Collingwood. Their teams (Essendon, Richmond, Carlton, Brisbane, Hawthorn) are not likely to be in a Grand Final any time in the near future.

Anyway, this is workplace bullying. I'd be interested to know if anyone else has received such bad-taste messages

I'll yell and abuse opposition players and umpires if necessary during a game but once the game is over, I'd never 'rub it in' to the losers.

I assume everyone here is a Saints supporter, although you could be forgiven for thinking otherwise sometimes, with the amount of pessimism and negativity you see from some people.

You have to play it right before the game.

Can't be all cocky and brash. When a filth supporter talks themself up and talks us down leading up to the Grand Final I'd just throw in "yeah,you're probably right". I always play down our chances,not interested in getting in a slinging match with tossers at work about it.

Play down our chances leading up to it, then it's likely they'll leave you alone the next week,or in my case they gave me sympathy even. Get involved in the slinging matches pregame,then expect to cop it the next week,and if you don't want to cop it,then keep quiet leading up to it. They're my tactics

I gave it to them the first week leading up to the GF then nothing the next from anyone it all went quite.

All started off nice after the GF with bad luck mate and I returned yes best team won Blah Blah Blah.

Now its on as the filthy ones start to defend Sunday mornings outcome, trying to find a Filth player in GF with criminal record ATM so if anyone knows PLEASE advise so I can send a text on how proud they should be of the current group and the club in general.

Filth supporters can't say too much. How many times have they made it to a GF and lost?

Should be interesting the groups that pop up after their players indiscretions.

All the nuetrals at my work wanted us to win and hate the filth, so I have been pretty lucky in the ribbing department.

I did get something funny from the boys in the factory though....yesterday we were doing a job for some religous thing and there was a big poster of Mary McKillop in it. The boys decided to give it to me to put up on my wall next to Rooey. Their comment...."You could use a miracle".
