Most clubs have left Etihad Stadium after day one of #tradeweek Collingwood, Adelaide, Richmond, Saints and Gold Coast still inside.
So Collingwood have got Tarrant and Fraser
Adelaide seem interested in quite a few players
Richmond have Tambling
GC are looking for a few as well for draft picks.
But what the hell are we still doing there with the last few teams to leave???
Should we be sensing a surprise?
Funny story with this one. The Trade Chat guys sat there for an hour and a half wondering the same thing...then someone checked the rooms and found everyone had left! These 4 teams obviously knew where the side exit was.
Seriously, the biggest surprise would be if we traded at all, unless for picks, IMO.

I quite like the idea of Trade Week starting on Tuesday and finishing at 2.00pm the following Monday. It means that offers can be made by the Friday, those involved then have the entire weekend to contenplate it before giving an answer on the Monday.
The downside to this is that almost all trades will be delayed until the Monday, where those involving Collingwood and/or Essendon will be held up to the point that they run out of time !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Who knows. Apparently we've expressed "mild" interest in Tambling. But personally I don't really want us to trade, other than for picks. And given our salary cap pressure, I don't think we can. RL said in the paper this morning that we were looking at teenagers in the draft, so that is what I would expect to happen.

Yeah, and why wouldn't we!!!!!
IMO that's what is really starting to hurt us, we're the only team that seems to stay loyal to GOP's and let's be honest we've got than our fair share of them!!!!
Our skill level is terrible and our pace is even worse, surely we need to at least try and improve.

Both of those guys have a bit of goal sense and bate looks like a good quick reader of play.
Either of them would be very worthwhile.
Bate is the perfect mould for the third tall forward.
If true would that indicate Gardiner is more then likely retiring?
I thought that Sam Jacobs wanted to go home to Adelaide? I haven't seen him play much, how is he? Although apparently he did play one good game in the finals??
What about armo for sherman Armo is a Queensland boy and it would give us a bit of leverage.
What about Kosi (i know he is in contract but can be broken) or Clarke Kosi to Melbourne or Richmond even GC who all need a ruckman forward for a early draft pick. We will not get any better use out of kosi now on so trade him while we can.

Does not matter if Kosi has a contract, if 2 clubs decide to trade the contract means nothing

Havent seen a great deal either but from what ive seen he has loads of potential and would fit in nicely next to Big Mac.

Yes I heard to that he wanted to go back to Adelaide, which is why I doubt that move is on, but it would be a good one

He can't see the ball let alone get enough of it to be effective.
from twitter - InsiderAFL: St Kilda look to trump deal for Sam Jacobs. Stacks of interest in Goldsack. Whispers suggest another Lion may want out of the den.
You would think Johnstone would be that Lion.
I also hope that we are one of the clubs interested in Goldsack.
I would like to see us do a deal with Carlton for Sam Jacobs but they want a first round draft pick Maybe we could offer a late pick and Raph Clarke (to replace Walker)
