So if we were to get rid of the following:
King - Retired
Lovett - Knob
Smith - Retired
Allen - Retired
L. Fisher - Retired
Cahill - Delist
Johnson - Delist
Now 2 are on the Rookie list yeah?
Walsh is already promoted
Simpkin a possibility???
How likely is it that we will be able to effectively pick 3-4 young kids from the draft that is already compromised by the Suns and our first pick is early 20's?????

Your suggesting the saints delist blake.
Just about all your posts make me laugh jabber, I just dread the day you accidently get something right.
Blake will be top 10 in the BnF for the 4th straight year.

Unless you know something we don't i would be at pains to delist McGrath. Size takes a long time. remember Sandilands was hopeless at 21 now look at him. Patiencemad saint guy wrote:Retire: King, Baker, Smith

Promote: Simpkin, Walsh, Gaertner
Leaving three senior spots and six rookie spots. If we need room for another player Pattison could go.

the problem is mcgrath is already in his thrid year i believe. we would have to promote him. or delist him and then put him back on.older saint wrote:Unless you know something we don't i would be at pains to delist McGrath. Clearly you wouldn't promote the guy.saintly wrote:the problem is mcgrath is already in his thrid year i believe. we would have to promote him. or delist him and then put him back on.older saint wrote:Unless you know something we don't i would be at pains to delist McGrath. But seeing as he's been injured, or when not, running around in the Sandy seconds this year, after failing to push for promtion previously, there's a fair chance he won't be snapped up by a rival club if we wish to go down the delist/re-rookie road.
Don't know too much about him but he's big big as opposed to just big. I believe he may also be quite quick and athletic for his size. So with all that in mind I would like to see him retained a bit longer in some capacity.

SENIOR LIST
Delist:
Steven King
Andrew Lovett
Jesse Smith
Steven Baker (retiring?)
Paul Cahill (re-rookie)
ROOKIE LIST
Delist:
Leigh Fisher
Jarryd Allen
Promote:
Tom Simpkin (RL says he'll get more chances - http://tiny.cc/htlts)
Retain:
Blake McGrath
Tommy Walsh
Daniel Archer
Mark Hutchings
Steven Gaertner
NOTES:
Whats the veterans list situation?
Currently:
Lenny Hayes (V+) "Veteran outside list of 38"
Steven Baker (V) - "Veteran on list of 38"
Most teams have two players who are (V+), but we only have one. Why?
Surely Riewoldt will be promoted to the veterans list now.

The word on the AFL.com Saints chat that is happening at the moment, is McGrath has not come on at all, and will probably be cut.Dr Spaceman wrote:Clearly you wouldn't promote the guy.saintly wrote:the problem is mcgrath is already in his thrid year i believe. we would have to promote him. or delist him and then put him back on.older saint wrote:Unless you know something we don't i would be at pains to delist McGrath.
