I know his attitude sucks, and he is a cancer, blah blah blah. But he is the only decent player that we will be able to get without giving up a first 22 player.
I also believe that if he plays with the club he loves and comes back to Melbourne, his attitude may improve.
Lets face it, if the pain of last year couldn't motivate the players, what is this year going to do. I wasn't big for radical changes after the pain of last year, but I believe we need to do something big in this off season.
*Provided Brisbane pay part of his salary cap, so that we can fit him in.
Kosi to the ruck, Gardiner to retire (with the new interchange rules, we just can't carry Gardiner only playing 50% of gametime)

We needed both of them, and they worked out very well. We don't need Fev, and it wouldn't work out very well.Saintersss wrote:How'd Gehrig work out for us? How'd Gardiner work out for us?degruch wrote:Don't think we need the risk...how'd Lovett work out for us?
I understand its a big risk, but I think its one the Saints need to take.

Why get Judd as well seen that we will be 700k over the cap we may as well just break every rule in the book. Tonight we have had Hill, Motlop and Fev. At least people are consistant. 3 of the laziest players in the AFL. Surely there is a couple more.Tom_Sainter wrote:not the dumbest idea going around. Not sure about their work ethic, but certainly some of the most selfish players to have pulled on a jumper.plugger66 wrote:Why get Judd as well seen that we will be 700k over the cap we may as well just break every rule in the book. I'd chase a transvestite better than they would chase an opposition player. Not that there is anything wrong with that.degruch wrote:Not sure about their work ethic, but certainly some of the most selfish players to have pulled on a jumper.plugger66 wrote:Why get Judd as well seen that we will be 700k over the cap we may as well just break every rule in the book. I'd take the punt if the conditions were right. Huge interview process and meetings required if we were to take the punt.
Let's face it; he'd be cheap; we're not going to win the flag without making a huge gamble anyway; Kosi isn't a forward and we're unlikely to pick anyone useful up in the draft to fit in our window.
Throw caution to the wind because we're running out of chances and I for one would prefer to finish last next year RATHER THAN EFFING SECOND and second guessing about what might have been. Take the punt.

I once spent a year in Adelaide, I think it was on a Sunday.

I'd be thrilled to have Fev in the side. Seriously, put an 80 goal per year full forward in front of Riewoldt and the side instantly become so much more dangerous. If we could somehow snare Fev and a quality midfielder (Kerr?) then we'd be in with a serious shot.
B: Gwilt, Dawson, Miles
HB: Gram, Blake, Fisher
C: Dal Santo, Hayes, Kerr
HF: Schneider, Riewoldt, Gilbert
F: Milne, Fevola, Steven
Foll: Gardiner, Goddard, Montagna
Int: Jones, Ray, Koschitzke, Armitage
Emg: McEvoy, Geary, Clarke
Makes for a tough, skillful team with plenty of firepower and a bit of pace.
