That's exactly what I was thinking as the game slipped away in the third.
My kids might see one but I am not sure I will.
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!
I have a media ban too but I just watched the Lionel Ritchie part of the replay then turned it off.
I arrived at the ground after a few drinks, the sun was shining, almost all Saints in M1-M4 were up dancing "All night Long" and I honestly thought it was going to be (need to say argueably - married with kids), the best day of my life.
But it was not.
And being at Linton Street today just made me soooo angry.
CAN WE IMAGINE HOW AMAZING TODAY WOULD HAVE BEEN IF WE HAD OF WON? Partying in the sun, reliving every goal, every won contest, every roar of the CS, every hi-5.
Well given I have never seen a flag in my 31years, and have been to 4 losing Grand Finals (a draw in a GF is a loss, lets be honest) ... NO, I cant imagine it.
SOOOOO NOT FAIR.
But I love the club and I love the boys and I will pay up every year....
I'm over it already.......i barrack for StKilda.....i'm used to failure....
I'm also fairly confident i won't have to worry about Grand Final tickets next year...i think we'll slide a bit from here....hopefully it's because Ross has made changes and he needs time to mould them into a premiership team...
How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?
