I want to try and move on now and lighten things up a little with something that just crossed my mind.
A few years ago I thought I would dust off the 1997 GF dvd and have my first attempt at watching it again but got to the end of the 3rd quarter and couldn't bare any more.
Would be Interseted to know if anyone has the stomach to have ever watched the 1997 or 09 or will probably ever watch yesterdays again?
Or worse have any low Collingwood mates or family that will put it on when you are around to rub your face in it?

havnt watched 97 or 09. left at the 20min of the last quarter yesterday. couldnt stand anymore of collingwood. will have at least a 1 week ban from any AFL related news.

it should all blow over by then!! Then all the focus is on trades!
Never watched 97, 09 and don't plan to watch yesterdays. What's the point? It's bad enough turning on triple M and hearing the replay of the commentary
For some reason I have kept 71, 97 and 09 though I don't think I will ever watch them.
But as for that debacle yesterday I have already wiped it off the disk.
The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.
They can even WATCH LIVE FOOTY!

97 was like a nightmare but it was so long ago doesn't feel as bad.
