Luke Ball
Always was a great person - happy for his success - he kind of seemed upset for his Saints mates/ex team mates over his enjoyment for his win - he always was all class...
Hope he can enjoy his win, but liked his humiliation - sorry he couldn't have tasted succes with the Saints - but happy for him...
Thanks my boys - love you Saints - hold your heads high and keep playing Saints footy - we will taste success and it will be all the sweeter when it comes...

I couldn't bear to see that traitorous prick get a medal.
Shame he didn't do his hammy properly in the Prelim and miss the final.
Having said that he is way over-rated - can't kick for nuts and had limited impact in both GFs.

The rest of Australia can wander mask-free, socialise, eat out, no curfews, no zoning, no police rings of steel, no illogical inconsistent rules.

Spot on. Great thread. I have this crazy hope that one day he'll be back at the Saints, Croad-Hawthorn style.
I'm just saying. Stranger things have happened! Looked more concerned about his old mates than he was about himself today. Deserves a premiership, but now he's got one, come back and help us get one!

Don't believe he betrayed anyone - wasn't what was needed for Saints footy and found himdself on the outer - did what he had to do given the circumstances - I believe he always thought of himself as a Saint and was disappointed to go - would have stayed if he could have, did what was best for him at the time.
A bloke who handled himself classily as a Saint - handled himself classily when he left, handles himself classily now, and, my guess is, will continue to handle himself classily in the future - kind of guy he is.
Luck fell his way - just felt that the classy guy was feeling for those he left behind...
Good on him - hope he doesn't win next year - because the Saints do, that's all...

Luke Ball showed some humility and pain for his ex mates which is more than I can say for Max Hudghton !!! To see him standing the boundary line laughing alongside Buckley will burn in me for a long time, even Harvs at carlton showed his class but not Max.
Max is our equivalent to SOS with carlton, this I have no doubt now !!! Am livid with him right now.
