What a turn of events
What a turn of events for me personally, I'm from Broken Hill and I am moving to WA this weekend to start a new job.
I missed the GF last week because of the lack of tickets so was pretty gut wrenched.
This week I was meant to fly to Perth to start my new job tomorrow and wouldn't even get to watch the game.
I got a call Tuesday and my Grandfather passed away in Bendigo so I had to change all my plans and get to Bendigo for his funeral today.
I have now booked my flights to WA saturday night to Perth to start my new job on Sunday. Get to watch the game now .BONUS
Then about an hour ago a mate in Broken Hill rang me and he was meant to go and he cant make it.
He had 3 tickets and now me and my 2 cousins can go! DOUBLE BONUS!!
All II can say is that I love my pop dearly, he has been sick for a while and I feel that this is a gift from him.
RIP pop, I love ya!

sorry about your Pop
But we'll thank him as he sits beside Jack and Trev and all the other sainters departed.

So sad to hear about your pop.
So many turns of events from not even seeing the game to now being there must be some sort of divine intervention. I'm sure your pop had a hand in it all.
Enjoy the game and remember a silent thanks to Pop when we win.

yeah sorry to here about your grand
made me think of my mine who died 12 years ago now and the reason why I became a big saints fan.
My Grandfather went to the 1913 grandfinal as a kid then 65, 66, and 71 as a Adult and due to failling health (90 ffs but mind still there) and finances in 97 wouldn't be able to attend, my uncle wrote the club and the saints arranged a nice comfy seat for him to be able to attend the game. Thats the moment I went from a fan who watched the saints occasionally to a full blown fanatic.

I was there last year, my mother who was a passionate supporter passed away from cancer 2 weeks before.
We saved a seat for her as it was already paid for and we sat there and watched the game.
It was unbelievably upsetting when we lost.
All I know is tomorrow is gonna be massive and when I fly out tomorrow night I hope I am flying higher than the plane!
Come on Boys!
