Just so you guys know, stewie was great. He was one of my childhood favs so was stoked to be able to chat to him.
As an added little bonus, I was having a beer there with a mate after all the panellists had left and who should just stroll in ? Yep, Robert Harvey !!!!! Just in casual dress with his 2 kids enjoying the day. Was awesome to be able to have a chat with him he's thrilled to be back st the saints

I got told off by my kids because I was looking up at them while the anthem was being played.Gabba wrote:Hehe, it was great seeing everyone turn around within a few seconds to look up at them both.remboy wrote:Harvs and Stewie were sitting on level 2 directly above me last week. I know they'll be celebrating as much as anyone if we can get up.

About 4 years ago I was having a beer down at St Kilda with an ex St Kilda player. Buckets came along and I was a bit gushy and offered to buy him a drink. He took the drink and then basically told me to f--k off. I was shattterd. The St Kilda player was very embarassed. I used to love SL but it left a sour taste in my mouth. I also saw him from wher I was sitting at the GF last week.Sainter_4_life wrote:Just so you guys know, stewie was great. He was one of my childhood favs so was stoked to be able to chat to him.

I was at a birthday dinner a few years back and Buckets was there with his wife.I was amazed at his patience as people constantly interrupted him asking for autographs and just asking questions.I was amazed at his composure and patienec and couldn't believe how difficult public life is for a footy player.Find it hard to believe he was rude!

Just like my experience with spider everitt when i was 10 years old..... pig headed asshole this was me when i got granted a wish and went over to him he didnt say anything turned his back when i asked for a autograph. everyone else was ok, so rude.Winmar wrote:For that reason I'm a bit reluctant to do more than ask my heroes for an autograph or photo. The thought that they could say something to me that makes me dislike them is rather scary! Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with him.
