Rest assured, the GC will be the most dominant team in the AFL for a very long time with Melbourne Richmond North and Freo fighting against eachother for the other spots in the top four. But it will all be in vain because the GC will simply be far too good.
Until the GWS comes along and dethrones them...

That would be a nice time to be rebuilding... after winning 2 or 3 flags.FQF wrote:Rest assured, the GC will be the most dominant team in the AFL for a very long time with Melbourne Richmond North and Freo fighting against eachother for the other spots in the top four. Under the captaincy of Tommy Walsh, and the co-coaching of Ross and Roo, we will be in good hands.

5 prelims in 7 years. 40 wins from 49 games.
2009 and 2010 were 2 of the 5 best years ever by the St.Kilda FC.
Thanks for all your efforts Saints.

In Abletts defence eveyone just talks about the $$$. No doubt they proved a big lure.
But you know what hes just a regular bloke. noone stops to think that hes probably just plain bored sh*tless of living in cat-town. hes lived there his whole life. Hes driven the same streets. The same people. Day in day out. And when hes got that much cash and no kids or mortgages like most people. He might just want a change. I understand his old man and brother live up there. They are probably sick to death of Geelong and having everyone stop them in the street everyday.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

There's no secret it won't be ready until at least mid season. GC are playing home games in Cairns and at the Gabba until the stadium's done.ozrulestrace wrote:Well another priceless faux pas by Channel 10 Queensland newsroom.
The talking head was at Cararra and quite frankly don't think it will be ready by next year, however they cut to footage of a bald Geelong player cutting through the play with the ball.
Tooo bad it was Number 35 Paul Chapman.

My Saintly loyalties will never waver, but I'm gagging to have a spot to go see some proper footy. The club stuff up here's fun, but the real thing at a new stadium will simply rock.stevie wrote:Yeah, Rd 9 i think. will probably be a 5pm saturday arve kickoff.Thinline wrote:There's no secret it won't be ready until at least mid season.
