Saints Fan in Painted Saints jumper-mystery solved

Post: # 1005136Post mordi »

Watched the replay last night, is it just me or was there a young guy sitting in front row of GSS wearing nothing on top but a painted on Saints jumper? (I did have a few wines so may have imagined it)

Yeah, he was in the AFL members. Saw him before the game outside and then down below me during the match.

Saw him too.

Can't believe he buggered up the colour sequence though
His painted on guernsey went Black, white and red.

Much prefer the painted ladies you see on posters at the market

It's a beautiful job.
But he obviously did it himself, in the mirror!

If you are referring to this bloke...

Then that's me you're all talking about

My girlfriend did the painting job but she's now gone to Queensland for the week so my dad has kindly volunteered for this week
.
Thanks for all the nice comments by the way, just had to support the boys properly :!:

Should also make mention that when you saw me on TV I did get to touch Clinton Jones in the last quarter of a Grand Final which was a ridiculous moment.

Note I changed the photo for the sake of the privacy of those sitting near me

This is such a mum comment, but you must of been freezing, hope you bought an old jacket to warm up as soon as the match finished!

My mum did make the exact same comment.

I was fine until it started raining 10 minutes after the presentation ceremony, but I did bring an old t-shirt and jacket so it was all OK.

Washing it off hasn't been as easy but really the remaining specks are a head-start for the replay!

Yep and I'll be there again this week. Actually if you're sitting in M20 or nearby bays make sure you get behind me as I lead the chanting like the second half last week.

I'm M20 near the front this week, where did you get?

Did you do the same thing last year? I can remember seeing someone (looked kind of like you!) last year ... and if it was you ... terrific effort!

Very unmod like behaviour to post that photograph without a corresponding one of your girlfriend similarly attired! :)

Someone maybe should post it up on the banner of saintsational.com?
(remove the thank you to me and replace it somehow with the photo - it encapsulates the passion for the Saints around here)
