No I havn't given any hints. It will come out soon enough, I imagine.

My personal opinion is i would like to see him go to another club to grow as a footballer and to get some more opportunity, but this is my opinion. Once again it is between David, his manager and St Kilda.
I'm a reading between the lines kind of person...

You said yesterday

"haha, I can't comment on this as it is between David, his manager and the Saint Kilda football club.
I look forward to having a discussion about it after the GF though."

We all knew GAJ was going with less info than this...

For what it's worth,I want him to stay
Trust me, there are no lines to read between from me. It is nothing to do with me
well i want him to stay, sounds as though by your comments that he isnt and u would say if he was 100 percent staying that you would say that... We had better at least get some compensation!!

If he is going, he better not play this weekend!
Mate seriously I am telling everyone it has nothing to do with me, i am not saying he is going and i am not saying he is staying. Why would I say something about something the club havn't said anything about.

Trade week is next week. After the Grand Final i am sure everyone will have an article about where they are going or staying. That's what I am waiting for.

Doubt it would be Fraser. Absolutely finished as a player and most likely be delisted at any rate. The Cloke rumour keeps bubbling. Please make it Cloke I want Eddie and his circus to erupt.

Would be great if it was Cloke.

And even better if he announced it at 2.29 pm on Saturday 2nd October 2010! :D

I trust you DWOODROW and know you only want the best for David.
Personally I don't think David will be at St Kilda next year. He probably won't be at Gold Coast either. He has a future in the AFL, but like Luke Ball I don't think he fits the St Kilda game plan.

I thought they would want someone who could actually kick A goal. Cloke kicks more points and out on the full than goals doesn't he. :)

Depends if Armo wants to be moulded into something else, I'd like to see him as a defensive forward who can also rotate through the midfield (I think this could be pretty handy on Saturday) and then down the track he could take a full time midfield position.

I heard whispers that Essendon were looking for another inside mid in his mould?

Dunno, I want him to stay at the Saints though.

Josh Fraser is disenchanted with the Pies, I read that he put a message on his facebook page just after the parade when the fans drowned out Roo saying something along the lines of 'no wonder everyone hates Collingwood' :)

Bombers will be real active in trade week and need an Armo type to balance out the squibs.

Houli and a pick? Straight swap?

Prob a bit light on.

Academic. I reckon Armo will be a keeper.

I would take Houli if we had the opportunity. I think we would trade a pick only though.

I really hope Armi doesnt leave he will be a great player in the future.

If he leaves we will have limited up and coming mids.

Which is why we should, and hopefully will, retain him.

Of course that also depends on Armo wanting to stay. He may feel he's better off elsewhere.

IMO he was unlucky to get dropped. I also believe that had he not been injured (twice) when playing for Sandy, he may well have won his way back into the team and kept his spot. However that's something we'll never know.

Most people probably don't expect Armo to be picked this week but Ross, as conservative as he is, sometimes throws up the unexpected.

I have not heard that Clint has re-signed. Has he? I hope he doesn't leave us!

I agree - odds are for armo. But im worried about CJ and Faz...
Don't want any of them to go. However, if I had to choose, Armo would be the one. He seems to be 'unsettled' and not happy with his current role within the team. Can't see CJ or Ray wanting to leave this group. Ross has turned both of their careers around.

I would be surprised if they went for Armo. They are building a really strong core and you would think that as someone said before, that cloke and frazer would be good additions for them. Hale from North would be a good fit. But they have a heap of young gun mids already signed, need probably a tagger like Jones, but only after a strong ruck and a couple of hard key talls.

Goldsack would be a nice pick up for them too.

As I said before there is a storm a brewin' in Q'land. They will DOMINATE in a few years.

For what it's worth, Guy McKenna apparently said on radio this morning unequivocally that Suns weren't chasing anyone from the two GF teams.

I suppose that leaves open the possibility that players in each squad may chase the Suns post match, but McKenna strikes me as a fairly honest Joe.

Take from that what you will I guess.

I can't help thinking they are like a drunk tatts winner. They are down the pub throwing money around, paying above the asking price for everything.

If I was them, I would now start to get a little creative and start rounding up some talent that is in the second tiers like Andraes Everitt, Goldsack, Josh Hill, Ayce Cordy etc. All the guys who are a year away from regular spots at good teams.

They seem to be making impact signings that get maximum publicity. I won't be surprised if they start getting a little more focused on those guys.

I wonder if this season players development, Armo for instance has been stifled to hide up coming talent.

He can only mean that the players playing in the GF weren't being chased because I know for a fact that Josh Fraser has signed with the Suns.

for clarity cloke has signed with the grubwood wobblers.

IMHO the fraser call may be correct. they need a ruck. he's a 200 gamer and can play forward aswell. a 200 gamer is marketing.

For what it's worth, Geoof Walsh (Collingwood's Chief of Footy) said this morning on SEN that Cloke hasn't signed yet and they'll be talking to him more next week.

He said they were hopefull but can't rule out GC snaring him.
