Who were the two who didn't show?
"MCC communications manager Shane Brown is confident Saturday’s (replay) crowd will threaten last Saturday’s turnout of 100,016 and the ground’s capacity of 100,018."
So the question is, who were the two people who were no shows last Saturday?

well no seats near me
did they take any for the entertainment?
It does mean that everyone that had a ticket turned up-- which over 100,000 people is amazing..

If the 100016 figure is accurate (and I have no reason to beleive that it wouldnt be) then I can confirm that the ground was at capacity. A young man who works for me and his mate snuck in with a crowd of smokers using the pass out trick just before the anthem. He reckons that there was so many people going through at once that he just pushed a peice of card into the guys hand and was pushed on by the surging crowd?
Maybe this year?
I can pretty much assure you it isnt.rexy wrote:If the 100016 figure is accurate (and I have no reason to beleive that it wouldnt be) then I can confirm that the ground was at capacity. Was a spare next to me also.
Think the crowd was more like 103,000 going by SEN yesterday. One bloke said there were passouts being sold everywhere...another bloke reckons he got 200 in...i don't know why you'd possibly ring up and brag about it on radio. I'd expect too see a much stricter pass out system this weekend

One was definately me!!!Just to emotional this time around....especially against Collingwood... would most likely be killed or up for manslaughter
Would plead severe profication of course !
Prefer to move between the T.V and back patio where the Esky of Crownies on ice reside and the occassional walk around the back blocks of Mt,Martha...just need a flag to cure me

Never take a backward step even to gain momentum.....
