Plea to Cheer Squad or lots of fans seated together
it occurred to me this morning, that when we are kicking the filth's skanky backsides, we start our own chant...
"coooooooolling------won'ttttttttttttttttttttt"
Especially in light of the fact i am sick of them and that stupid chant. Imagine having a chant of one word because their supporters can't read more than one word lyrics on a page.
So, to everyone at the game, please start this chant. We will be the pride of the whole league!

Just looking forward to us having a real crack each week, and appreciating the younger talent coming through.

Lets stick to positive St Kilda chants....and not chants mocking our opponent.philip wrote:it occurred to me this morning, that when we are kicking the filth's skanky backsides, we start our own chant...

I don't now about you...but hearing a loud St Kilda chant fires my passion.
Mocking chants will not inspire "pride"....and are not my idea of supporting my team.
If we are lucky enough to win., I want to hear StKilda echoing around the G..............and not a reference to the vanquished Pies.
Let's enjoy and celebrate the win, rather than wasting breath on the Pies.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....

Gday Folks!!!! After struggling to cope without a PC the Jigging Saint is now here and its back to the old forum with my pals!!!!!
hey, I was abso-bloomin-lootely knocked-out by the performances of our saints family at the GF! Whenever those Magpies got their chant going, those folks around me up in the nosebleeds of Q11 got to chanting St KILDA! clap-clap-clap!!! and gave away NOTHING!!! You were BRILLIANT!
I for one would love to hear: "Saaaaainters! Saaaaaiinters!!!" echoing around the G!

I vaguely remember - from the days at Waverley - a member of the corporate box atop of the members stand - opening up their window, leaning out and drawing as much oxygen as possible - then the ritual commenced...
GOOOOOooooooooOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo
SSSSSAAAAAIIINNNNTTTERRRRrrrrrrrssssss!
Can we find him?
GOOOOOooooooooOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooo
SSSSSAAAAAIIINNNNTTTERRRRrrrrrrrssssss!
Can we find him?
If everyone speeds, why haven't you been overtaken?
He did appear at the Dome for the first few years, and then vanished.Banger2Plugger wrote:I vaguely remember - from the days at Waverley - a member of the corporate box atop of the members stand - opening up their window, leaning out and drawing as much oxygen as possible - then the ritual commenced...

You could hear him right around the ground at Waverley, and that's a fair effort!
They walk amongst us...

OK, but how do people hear the whispering to know it's started?Legendary07 wrote:Everyone could start by whispering "St Kilda St Kilda St Kilda" etc. and go louder and louder and louder!! It will be just like putting the volume on from 0 to 10. Can you imagine if everyone do this, along with doing the same with clapping!

It should start from a small group of fans or the CS and then everyone around should follow (which could be a challenge) and then it would grow and grow.Dr Spaceman wrote:OK, but how do people hear the whispering to know it's started?Legendary07 wrote:Everyone could start by whispering "St Kilda St Kilda St Kilda" etc. and go louder and louder and louder!! And yes, The Saints are Coming could be good too!

Hey Gang! Here's something we could work on: (and it WILL require strong hearts! ) and that is to keep chanting/cheering CONTINUOUSLY! particularly when the opposition think they may be in the ascendancy!
It will take a MIGHTY effort, but I think we should not even CONSIDER the option of going quiet at ANY stage!!!!!
And Bakesfan! (Paul) I'm privileged to be standing with the troops in the M57 trenches and will be doing my UTTY!!!! to keep our spirits high!
