Totally Shattered
Now general tickets will not be available on Wednesday, it will mean I have missed out on both grand finals.
Where are the other 60,000 tickets going?
I had the money to buy a corporate package last week still couldn't get in.
This is rubbish!

Well I can tell you that employees of AFLQ are entitled to two tickets each. That's a lot of neutral supporters. I'm guessing the same would be for the other state footy employees. There must be thousands of them around the country.
yes, they do a good job in promoting the game, running carnivals, clinics etc etc but I still find it a little annoying. I guess it is a perk of their job.

It would be good if the AFL was honest and give a complete breakdown of where tickets are going to go.
There was 40,000 for both clubs members
AFL members 25,000 (not completely sure)
MCC members 25,000 (again not sure) (got this off the info on the afl tickets)
That would leave 10,000 which will be snapped up by competing club players for families etc, non competing clubs players, non competing clubs possibly, some corporates, sponsors so in the end nothing left.
Would love someone to have an accurate breakdown

no way can we afford to pay package rates for 7 people, as we travel 300km each way we wouldn't get to any function anyway.
Just want what I'm entitled to, it's not as if I didn't call Ticketek after 12, I called at 10.15am, which they have recorded, and I asked they call me back before 12 but they didn't call until after 1pm by which time it was too late
What is annoying me is that the AFL are giving 10000 tickets to under privileged, I have 3 with disabilities in my group of 7. we are happy to pay the going rate (again)
I've emailed the AFL - no reply - not sure I had the correct details. Emailed 3AW, no response - any other ideas?
